Hi guys I have been reading these boards for a while so I thought I'd take the plunge and join in. Please be gentle. I was wondering who you thought has had the hardest time on the island. For me it has to be Desmond. Any thoughts?

Hmmm, good question.

I think its Jack, mainly coz he had to assume role of leader and probably felt responsible for just about everything that happened on the island. Its his own personality that gives him a hard time (if you know what I mean) but I do think he has been stressed just about every single day.

i think its us viewers.. we've been through every single emotion possible, we saw the crash, weve seen people die, get kidnapped, shot and fall in love. Charlie died and we were sad..... not Claire.
when the show finishes noone on the island will care, but we will need therapy and god knows what else.

Thanks for the lovely welcome all. You made my day. Interesting answers. I chose Dessie because he has been used, manipulated and lied to from the start. Not to mention being locked in the hatch for three years pushing the button. Being accidentally responsible for the crash of 815 (not sure if that's confirmed though). When he eventually does get out he has to deal with the whole Charlie and time travel thing. It's enough to drive a man insane.

I think its obviously Juliet, her sister has had cancer only she can cure it (although Ben tells her otherwise) she can get it back at anytime, Her sister has had a baby and and has only seen it Via video and only once. She promised her sister that she would be back but she obviously can't leave.

Overall i hate Juliet LOL! But i truly feel that shes had the hardest time i mean just think your the character on lost and how would you feel if that happened to you?

I admit Rousseau was my second choice. We do not know what she was like before so we cannot see how being on the island has effected her as a person. We can only guess because of all the awful things that have happened to her. We need her flashback.

Im still flying the flag for Jacob.....cant get a decent haircut.....no mates (arrrrhhhh!).....people freaking out when they see you....house jumping around like a box of frogs!!

Rossaeu (sp) she had her baby on the island, had it snatched, had to kill all her friends, wandered round for 16 years, met her daughter then got shot. Bad times.
