I think the others are stuck in their own experiment gone wrong and possibly trying to get back to our and lets stick my neck out again and say dimension.
If the island is going through time at a different speed to the surounding area the people that have died there could still be living in another time which it could be hanso know who the people who have died in the peoples life before they got onto the plane, boat, balloon and are though all the cameras around the facility are watching and adding people from their past when they see fit.

After last nights final episodes i started to think of what i had read about the Philadelphia experiment on your post. It was said that a witness had seen light burst's that had come from a ship called the Timmerman. This was to do with the ships Generating plant. Could this be a connection somehow?

Thing about that theroy is that the little Nigerian plane wouldn't have had the range to fly to the Pacific ocean from west africa. This implies that another force is at work. Given the connections with Dharma (right living) Greek & Persian mythology, I think it has something to do with the search for a superbeing, a new Budda, the secon comming. Something tike that. Some how Hanso have managed to create an environment on earth condusive to psychic events, (the black wispy thing). But that still doesn't answer how the Nigerian plane got there.

Like the glow over the island? Maybe yes, i didnt pick up on that when I was reading, I was trying to think of sparks of light rather than a whole glow kind of thing. It may have been stronger and brighter because of higher emmisions or something.
