Someone spent a long time listening to get this transcript I tried to catch some of the whispers but it takes time to do this.

I was wondering again about the whispers being focused to the island due to the Magnetic properties and when the swan was still operating was a kind of gateway for the spirits, or whatever the whispers are. I can't say that there has been any heard recently.
But what if the incident that Radinsky talked about blew people to another state of existence or to another dimension. It could be that the smoke monster is the bi product of the negative energy left from there souls.
There has been many films where they have touched upon the subject of souls stuck in a state of flux. The other Night Hollow man seemed to have all the good taken out of him and more in the end. and it could be that on this island the people that are whispering are........ I don't know

Did anyone seethisHorizon prog. The machine has the potential to create a black hole? Could something like this explain the Purple explosion incident?

Magnetospheres are also being experimented with by nasa.

Could the islands be an underwater range which have been protected by an artificial magnetosphere (or the magnetosphere of a large crashing meteorite), thus become lush and green and heated by the earths core below. The black smoke could be (what are underwater) hydrothermal vents (black smokers).

If the pole shift theories are correct then the sphere could be an ARC of some sort onto which the survivors have stumbled through crashing, or been placed there as a cross section of characters to repopulate the earth.

No no this was a machine built to simulate fast flowing protons to take photographs of them at point of impact. What the purple flash was is something totally differant. If you look up the Philidelphia experiment then it will explain in more detail. Basically it explains that magnets were used by the US navy to try and render there ships invisible. The experimet went horribly wrong and as a consequence peoples bodys were found to be fused into the hull of the boat. People standing at the shore who witnessed the ship returning said there was a bright purple glow as high as the heavens.

If it is worth mentioning there are several points to the underwater idea. it was thought at first but then dissmissed as there are to many variables. Desmond arived by boat and as we saw a helicopter can get there to.

Also the main theory at the moment is that the island is a group of islands and was rendered invisable by the swan. since its destruction it has become visable to radar and everything else. As for the BSM it is most likely that it is as i have said in my monster conatinment thread..a contained surplus of plasma which can be done using an electromagnetic field. also the idea behind the security fence is that this field can be disrupted by a specific frequency. This would explain why the BSM doesnt seem to agree with the fence.

And on a final note there is the matter of the main island itself...along with the new facts that the plane was found with no survivors this raised a number of questions and theories. What if the plane that was found was a setup? and what if it was done on purpose to get them to the island? it is thought by torry here that they are infact dead and can only survive on the island as locke knows himself.

I think that locke knows what is afoot as he did say himself that if he left he would never walk again unless he stayed. Actually it was ben i think but oh well. The fact is that the islands healing power can bring people back from the dead....possibly...yes i know it sounds wrong but hear me out. Mechail or whatever died at the hands of that fence thingy so for him to return alive sort of prooves that...and in the first place locke threw him into the fence but had the determination and knowledge that he would return from the "other side".

All in all this explains the probable thinking behind the writers of lost...in my eyes anyways..not yours...if you dont belive what im rambling on about . Anyhoo hope this made for a good read as it took me long enough to write the damn thing

The submarine being the only way to get 'off' the island would also support your under water theory...

But still doesnt explain des's boat and 815 AND the helicopter...not to mention the supply plane. But who knows must keep a open mind ehh
