Yes I know that it is from season one but we are forgeting things from the early season that still have not been answered.
And if they have i am sorry I certainaly have not read them.
We see walt looking at a comic that just happens to have a polar bear in the story then there in the jungle is a polar bear, unless walt uses some kind of energy to manifest a polar bear or there is zoo and it has escaped.
Just a thought.
Anyway hope tonights episode has been worth the wait.

I think it's just an interesting and cool coincidence that there was a Polar Bear in the comic Walt was looking at...

Since i have just joined this forum i will make this brief. The idea of Walt manafesting the polar bear with his mind has been ruled out, however i think its fair to say that there is still something phykic about him. I guess we will still have to wait untill season three to find out if such powers are revealed to us.

Walt isnt in series 3? I dont know if that is entirely true coz i thought that series 3 is not even half finished so how can u be sure that walt isnt in it.

Anyway from what ive been reading on the net is that JJ Abrams has not released any Cast list and is firmly concentrating on the job at hand.

I have just been looking over series one and there is definitely a dahrma sign in the background of one of the pictures of the comic. This could just be a coincidence or it could be relevant to the strange creature s that we have been seeing.

Any thoughts?

You can look at that comic book here, I'm 99.99% sure there's not a DHARMA symbol in it because it's a DC comic and it predates LOST by quite some time...

We've got cast lists for two episodes so far, and the odd rumour about characters coming up, but it's looking very unlikely Michael or Walt will appear before the end of season three, if at all...

Ah yes, true, I though it was made of the same black smoke though, I didn't think the actual thing has tentacles. I'm not sure, been a while since I watched that episode.

It made a weird noise while it was dragging Locke away too I remember, that bit was cool. They managed to disrupt it with dynamite too, so it must have some physical presence.

God knows what it actually looks like! The smoke could literally be a smoke screen.

I tried to post but was blocked wrong content whatever!
Had a look at the said pictures of the smoke when Mr Ecko stared at it showing no fear
The pictures are quite creepy showing what looks like glimpses of Ecko's past.
I wonder if that I what Locke saw when he came face to face in season one Then claimed that he Knew the Islands secret also had that creepy gift of knowing when it was going to rain.
