The only immediate difference I see would be that the 'real world' would move at a snails pace compared to the island. Realistically, I'd think that taking only 3.15 days to find them is a bit to quick. Hehe, can you not decipher it? I find it fairly easy to work out. Apparently some browsers can show all the letters, but upside down of course. Mine mostly shows squares as well, with the odd letter. Enough that I can work out what the rest should be.
