if those whispers are walt what about before the others got walt, maybe those other children have powers too
|
| |
|

|
Why would Walt using his psychic powers preclude The Others from being in the vicinity? Which they almost certainly were at the time, kidnapping Cindy...

Yeh well if the whispers were Walt, then the whispers before they caught him couldn't have happened. If they were the Others, then surely they would have controlled Walt getting that close to the camp. Maybe you are right about the other children, or perhaps they knew Walt was there. They could be faking all this about him appearing, mabye he isn't psychic at all.

Yea I've seen Three Minutes. What did Cindy say to make you believe she was one of the others MORBIDANGEL?

Do you remember in S1 when he was looking at that book of birds then all of a sudden there was a dead bird outside the window(or something like that)???. Maybe he knows he has these powers but he cant controll them yet. Someone said before on this forum that he was actually saying something Backwards to sharron!!! The water all over him must mean something aswell.

There's a clue in Ms. Klugh's conversation with Michael... quote: MS. KLUGH: Hello, Michael.
MICHAEL: Where's my son?
MS. KLUGH: My name is Ms. Klugh. I was hoping you might help me answer some questions. About Walt.
MICHAEL: Where is he?
MS. KLUGH: Is he your biological son?
MICHAEL: What?
MS. KLUGH: Are you his father?
MICHAEL: Yes, I'm his...
MS. KLUGH: How old was he when he started speaking?
MICHAEL: I, he...
MS. KLUGH: Did he have any illnesses growing up? Headaches? Fainting spells?
MICHAEL: What? No! I don't -- I wasn't there. He was half way around the world. Why are you asking me all these questions?
MS. KLUGH: Did Walt ever appear in a place he wasn't supposed to be? You say he was half way around the world -- did you see him?
MICHAEL: I want my son! You bring him to me right now. I want to see my boy!
MS. KLUGH: For someone who wants his son back so badly, you don't seem to know much about him, Michael.
Shannon saw Walt three times in a place where he wasn't supposed to be, the last time with Sayid, but he wasn't actually there, he just appeared to be... He may have appeared before to Michael, he kind of avoids the question. There's been plenty of weird events surrounding Walt... quote: WALT: Hey, Brian, look, look. You're not looking. You're not looking.
[A bird smashes into the window.]
SUSAN: Oh, my god.
[Walt and Brian go to look at the bird on the ground which is brown-black and red.]
WALT: Is it dead?
BRIAN: Yeah, poor guy.
[Brian gives Walt a weird look, and Walt goes back to his bird book. Neither of the birds in the book looks like the dead bird.]
quote: BRIAN: I just lost the woman I love, alright? I can't be his father. . .
MICHAEL [grabbing Brian by the collar and shoving him up against the wall]: You son-of-a-bitch, what the hell are you talking about? You're the only father he knows.
BRIAN: It's more than that.
MICHAEL: Well, then what?
BRIAN: There's just -- there's something about him.
MICHAEL: What the hell are you talking about, man?
BRIAN: Sometimes when he's around things happen. He's different somehow.
quote: [Shot of Walt and Michael in the rain.]
MICHAEL: Hey, who was that guy you were hanging out with?
WALT: What guy?
MICHAEL: The bald guy.
WALT: Oh, Mr. Locke?
MICHAEL: Mr. Locke got any kids?
WALT: He didn't say.
MICHAEL: Yeah, what did he say?
WALT: I don't know.
MICHAEL: What do you mean you don't know. What did he say?
WALT: Some of it's secret.
MICHAEL: Did he tell you not to tell me?
WALT: No.
MICHAEL: Then what's the secret?
WALT: Mr. Locke said a miracle happened to him.
MICHAEL: Yeah, well, a miracle happened to all of us, Walt. We survived a plane crash. Look, I don't want you hanging around with him anymore.
WALT: Why not? He's my friend.
MICHAEL: Hey, I'm your friend, too.
WALT: If you were my friend, you'd find Vincent.
MICHAEL: Walt, look, I haven't given up on your dog. I'm going to do everything I can to find him.
WALT: No you won't.
MICHAEL: Yeah, Walt, I will.
WALT: You don't care about Vincent.
MICHAEL: I'm going to get your dog back as soon as it stops raining. Hey listen to me, I'm going to get your dog back. [The rain stops.]
quote: LOCKE: Easy, easy, easy. You're the one that was waving the knife around. He was just trying to make sure you didn't hurt someone. Michael, I know it's been difficult to bond with your son. You know why he's formed an attachment to me? Because I treat him like an adult; you still treat him like a boy.
MICHAEL: He's 10 years old.
LOCKE: He's been through more than most people in their entire lifetime. Maybe you haven't spent enough time with him to see it, but he's different.
MICHAEL: What did you say?
LOCKE: And we're not back home. As long as we're here, I think Walt should be allowed to realize his potential

What Walt says backwards isn't a spoiler... He says two different things... quote: WALT: Push the button. No button's bad
quote: WALT: They're coming. And they're close

when the tailies were talking about nathan cindy said she was good at remembering passangers faces but she didnt remember seeing nathan on, maybe nathan wasnt on the plane but she also said she didnt remember michael, jin or sawyer being on the plane however she remembered goodwin so she might have just not remembered seeing j.m.s or as i think she was lying to make out that they werent on the plane. and theres also the gary troupe thing " shes the love intrest of gary troupe(bad twin)" even though she was supposedly taken by the others i think she just left because after goodwin died there was no need for her to stay with the others
|
| |
|

|
That's defintely a possibility MORBIDANGEL666, she claimed to be good at faces but does'nt remember those people... I think it's also possible the Widmore Labspregnancy test was Cindy's and that there was a little baby Troup on the way... Maybe that's why, if she's not one of them, she was kidnapped?

But wasn't Cindy a flight attendant? If she just said this, then she could have been making it up. But did we actually see her on the plane, I can't remember that far back.

We did, she gave Jack an extra bottle of Vodka and then chased Charlie when he went into the toilets for a fix..

Some people think that the crash was staged and that Oceanic are in on it somehow. There are plenty of theories, no-one knows for sure. Personally I veer slightly away from the conspiracy angle, I don't think the connections between characters are nearly as important as they seem, it's just an idiom of the show...
