I posted this a while ago on SF, so I thought I'd post it on here to see what you guys thought.

Also, I haven't watched the pilot episodes for a looong time, so I may be a bit wrong with some things in this post. If I am wrong, please tell me so I can sort
it out
Okay, so as we know, in one of the pilot episodes [I can't remember which one - as I said, I haven't watched them for a while], Jack, Kate and Charlie go out to the cockpit to find a transmitter/transiever/radio/you get the idea.
When they get to it, they see the radio and then the pilot wakes up from his unconsciousness. After he's told Jack & co that the plane was about 1000 miles off course, the pilot gets up from his seat [I think it's to get the radio?], then he puts the radio down on the seat, and next thing we know, he gets snatched away through the window and killed by what we presume is the 'monster'.
This may sound a little obvious, but I think that the pilot was being watched by something or someone on the island and then taken because he had known how to properly use the radio and contact people, therefore he could get people off of the island.
What do you think?
Anything you don't understand I'll try and explain it
I'm not really a big Sayid fan, but if he was to be taken away I would miss shouting "SAYIIIIID" at the telly every Wednesday
