hi all, im quite confused as to how tom got back to the island as we seen him in the michael flashback off the island with mike, we last saw tom with micheal on the docks wen the electromagnatism thing went off when the hatch impolded which made the sky go purple & all communicatins to/from the island stop working because eye patch guys satellite dish wasnt working in his dharma station as a result of the electromagnestism (the flame i think)? the thing thts confused me is tht ben said 2 locke in the man from tallahasse people can leave the island in the sub but cnt get back to the island in it because of loss of communications with the outside world sumthing along those linesss, so sometime before locke goes crazy & decides 2 blow up the sub tom must have gone on the sub to the outside world to check on micheal which we seen as it was poosible 2 leave the island but how did he get back to the island because of loss of communincations? which also makes me think how did naomi get to the island in the chopper? as ben looked surprised when eye patch guy told him this in the man behind the curtain, unless ben was lying or the others have some other way of getting back to the island? or am i 4getting something?
Oh omen you may be onto something. I will be posting new theory soon that i working on and that is part of my theory.
In Alice in wonderland throught the looking glass the king is about to fall into the fire which he thinks is a volcano. The same fire is above the mantlepiece where alice gets through to the magical land. It is her entrance to the secret garden(island)where you travel extremely fast to reach your destination but nothing around you changes but your destination.

I bloody knew it!!Nobod as much as metions the volcano on the volcanic island....it at least warrents a passing comment!!
I do love the Alice books....veeeery strange....and the whole running as fast as you can....aaahhhhhhhh the little lightbulb has appeard over my head!!

Well tbh the whole 'Tom being off the island' thing seems to be out on the island timeline. Ok, Michael left at the end of season 2.
Tom was then seen in:
S3 E1 As he is with Kate in the shower room, S3 E2 As he shot at Sun on Desmonds boat, S3 E4 He is in the room when Sawyer has thefake pacemaker apparently put in him, S3 E6+E7 When Jack is performing surgery on Ben S3 E9 He is with jack when Juliet is handcuffed for shooting Danny. S3 E12 He is throwing the rugbyball to Jack
Could he really of got off the island and done all the things from michaels flashbacks within E11 and E12??? Something seems to be out with the time there for sure...
