we know she is a psychiatrist, when she was with Hurly doing washing, he said he recognised her.She made some excuse up, and put that sexy top on, i feel this was to distract hurley from her answer. Watch the scene again, to see what you think its in Fire and Water. We know Hurly was in a psychiatric hospital, any link?

I think she may be part of Dharma and was working for them before tha crash, maybe at hurlys hospital, i dunno.

Maybe Libby just recognised Hurley from his psych days and wanted to spare him the humiliation of saying she saw him when he was a loon.

What about when Libby goes up to Ana when shes digging out that pit and says she thinks that bloke is weird too, i forget his name, but it turned out to be Goodwin who was the other. Did Libby know he was an other all along, and said she thought it was the other bloke so Goodwin would not get caught?

the spoiler never actually said she was a compulsive liar it said "Libby is a ********** ****" which some people thought spelt compulsive liar but it could be something else

I agree that Libby is a mysterious charcater to say the least. She hasn't let anyone know much since she's been on the island. Can't wait for a flashback, if we ever get one... damn they probably won't give us one know and leave us in suspense lol

I think Libby is going to die next because i've heard another one of the main cast is next for the chop - and Libby just seems the part
