Hi
I am new to this forum.

I just posted on another thread the following - sorry for the repeat:

I just made a Vegetable Wellington as a trial for Christmas and it was delicious. Asparagus, red peppers, onion and spinach topped with goats chees and pesto and baked in puff pastry and served with a tomato sauce.

It was very tasty.

Although I am not vegetarian, my daughter in law is and we spend Christmas with them so have a veggie main course but with all the Christmas trimmings. I always make the bread sauce and stuffing for her and have already done that and put it into the freezer.

We never have Christmas pudding, usually Panatone with some exotic ice-cream. I was thinking of trying Nigella's Margarita ice-cream which has Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice in it.

....you could make them the day I would think. I made them in the morning and just stuck them in the fridge until I needed them.

Monkfish, pancetta and ciabatta bread kebabs or stir fried king prawns on toasted ciabatta to start (can't decide which yet!).

White wine - Sancerre

Pre prepared three bird roast - whole duck stuffed with chicken stuffed with pheasant and force meat and also a rib of beef.

Red wine - Rioja

Christmas pud flamed in brandy.

Pudding wine.

Can't wait!!

This year my dad is making some sort of werid pasta dishes!! I'm excited but it's a little different from the normal lasagna and baked spiral Ham.
