It's not that long to go now, and we're keen to know what you're doing this Xmas. Have you already started planning it, or are you going to wait til the last minute? Are you planning on the traditional turkey & Christmas pud, or are you being more adventurous this year? We want to hear your thoughts and stories about your best and worst ever Xmas experiences.
I just posted on another thread the following - sorry for the repeat:
I just made a Vegetable Wellington as a trial for Christmas and it was delicious. Asparagus, red peppers, onion and spinach topped with goats chees and pesto and baked in puff pastry and served with a tomato sauce.
It was very tasty.
Although I am not vegetarian, my daughter in law is and we spend Christmas with them so have a veggie main course but with all the Christmas trimmings. I always make the bread sauce and stuffing for her and have already done that and put it into the freezer.
We never have Christmas pudding, usually Panatone with some exotic ice-cream. I was thinking of trying Nigella's Margarita ice-cream which has Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice in it.
