hi, completely into my wagamama cook book at the moment, but wondering when they talk about japanese rice is it the same as sushi rice or something else. having diffs finding anything other than sushi rice in local supermarkets

From what i know (which is anot much really) most rice called 'sushi rice' is uruchi-mai which is normal Japanese rice. The other kind is mochi so as long as it doesnt say it is mochi i think you can assume it is urichi mai
