MUST be 4 tons of English mustard with roast beef - yep.
I like horseradish too - is YUMMY.
Salt is imperative - I cover everything I eat with it, not healthy I know, but hey - my blood pressure is normal..
White pepper should have it's own food group - I love the stuff!

I'm on my second tub of saxo salt since I left living with my parents. That's 13 years! I have to have salt on chips though, just gotta be done. Don't use it in cooking.

I don't add salt to my food after cooking but couldn't imagine not using it.

Thank you peeps - interesting stuff! Forgot to add my comments when i did the poll. I love salt on anything potato based - loads on chips, oh and on veg too. White pepper is my favourite as its stronger, i smother roast dinners and veg's in the stuff As for sauces, i always go for tomato sauce over brown. Love horseradish on beef and like to go for a fancy dressing on salads, like french, caeser or honey & mustard

I totally agree, Angel - white pepper is a major factor of sneezing in this house, I cover everything I eat in it, especially roasts and anything with gravy, which again should have it's own food group.
My poor family....

I don't use salt but use tons of black and white pepper on everything. I also cover all of my food in English Mustard - I can't get enough of the stuff. I think I've developed an immunity to the heat and strength of it now!

Use - black pepper, balsamic vinegar, herbs, soy sauce/wurz, olive oil Do not use - salt, mayo, creams, sauces Jury out on - mustard  .

How'd I manage to miss this!?! I love your polls, Angel I always use sea salt and black pepper when cooking. Don't like brown sauce. For salads it varies, usually mayo, salad cream or thousand island. I always just have gravy with roast beef.

I don't use salt. I rarely use pepper now.I use both tomato ketchup and brown sauce if having egg and chips. I love horseradish sauce - creamed but with my quorn sausages!!!

I love english mustard, but thought I didn't like it for years. I tried it again about 2 years ago and now I can't get enough. I deprived myself for 20 years!!!!
Pass me the remote love.....
