Hi
I'm a bit older - 59 - and am having a real problem getting down to at least the 10 stone I'd like to be (I'm currently around 10st10lb and 5ft 5inches). I eat very healthily, am very conscious of nutrition, don't like cakes and sweets, so can't cut down on them and am reasonably active. When I was going to the gym regularly 3 times a week I could never get below 10.4 and weight has crept up again. My trainer at the gym said I might have been eating too little so my body grabs everything it can get to hang on to so I've tried upping intake but nothing makes any difference.
Any ideas would be useful
regards
Hilary

Pulses, fruit, veggies, reasonable fish/lean meat (if not veggie), some bread etc might be a start.

Limit carbs like pasta or rice and hevy calorie take outs (currie, pizza etc).

Eat a "proper" regular meal cycle - breakfast, lunch, evening meal plus healths snacks if needed.

And don't believe the "your body puts on weight if you do not eat" lineWink. We hve all seen people that are *truly* starving themselves.
