All of the casualties (1,584 in WW1 and 600 in WW2) of the town of Cheltenham are commemorated in two books, containing biographies of the fallen, many with photographs: "Leaving all that was dear - Cheltenham and the Great War" (ISBN 0952938200) and "Held in Honour - Cheltenham and the Second World War" (ISBN 0952938235). Total research time taken in preparation - eight years. Copies are held at all major libraries in the town and at the Mayor's Parlour, The Municipal Offices, Cheltenham.
