Hi, I am currently writing an essay for my degree on different generations and about what makes people part of a generation...and so I curious to know if anyone who uses the site could help me as to what you think would make someone part of the Lost generation?is it simply their age or is there more of an identity than that. I would be extremely grateful for your help. Thanks for your time!
If you have not already worked it out for yourself, the use of the word 'lost' here is in reference to the lives lost as a result of WW1.
Although this site concerns itself primarily with those killed in action/died of wounds, one could feasibly expand that and include those wounded - both phsyically and psychologically. And should you wish to go further into the impact the Great War had on society you could also cite the loss of innocence .
