My Great-Uncle Harry Bromwich was killed 30th July 1917. He was a Rifleman in the 13th Battalion Rifle Brigade and enlisted at Camden Town. He is buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery and I have been fortunate enough to obtain a copy of his Army Records. According to my late Father when he went to Sunday School at a Church in Osnaburgh Street London NW1 my Grandmother always pointed out Harry Bromwich's name on a commemorative plaque just inside the Church. I think the church in question is no longer a C of E church. If anyone has any information on whether the plaque still exists I would be interested to know. Thanks to Channel 4 for a brilliant programme which was so well presented by Ian Hislop.
