i am looking into certain date to where the 6th battalion lincolnshire regt was imformation i have information that they were in france one battle finished 28 sept 1916 and didnt start another battle till 7 june 1917 thats seems to be a long out of battle were they still in the trenches between these dates would the still be fighting or on r and r or would another battalion seconded men to fight with them or thanks
