There are now lots of people researching the names on their local war memorials and setting up websites detailing the results of their research. What better way of ensuring that they are "Not Forgotten"?

I believe my own site, which was established in 1996, to be the first of these "online memorials". You can visit it at The Northallerton Memorials Project

Great to see you've been involved for so long, it's so nice to be able to discuss these issues with like minded people. I'm 29 and most peopl my age can't even tell you when the great war even was, which disgust me. So, I do what I can to balance this out!

Our website is www.britishwargraves.org.uk

Hi there,
That looks great
I have done a similar site for my local war memorial that has a relative commemorated on it.
