It seems he hated the Jews yet loved Muslims, what was with this guy?
Something I learned today is that Hitler approved a plan by Himmler to give SS ship to thousands of Muslims will to fight for Germany. Now wherein I knew of a "few" muslims fighting for Germany I was shocked to learn that they were allowed into the elite and Arian SS
I do understand why they appealed to him though as Islam taught then that a man will meet Allah if he fought to his death ... very convenient for Mr Himmler eh!

Himmler was probably following the views of his leader. Hitler admired the Muslims because they used war to spread their faith. He believed that if the Arabs hadn't been driven off in 732 Europe would've been ruled by Islamic Germans.

Two SS divisons were raised from the Bosnian Muslim population by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem at the invitation of the Nazis. They were allowed to wear the Fez as part of their uniform.
Hitler's racial sterotyping was no where near as rigid as many media historians portray it to be. Many slavic speaking peoples fought with the nazis, the Ukraines especially at Stalingrad, around 300,000 if my memory serves me. Four SS were also raised from the slavic Croat population.

Well they did of course put political spin on it. There were ethnic germans in the areas, so they were ok. Then there were descendents of earlier mixing, so they were ok. And then there were the Ostrogoths who had been in the balkans 1700 years ago, so that made them OK too.
You probably know that politicians always have some sort of reasoning to explain the inexplicable.

After WW1 Hitler saw the armistice as a betrayal and a joint bolschevik and jewish conspiracy. Jewish communists were involved in the munich soviet republic for example and so it was a convenient excuse to equate all jews with communism and revolution. This of course had changed somewhat by the time Hitler came to power and jews were being barred from certain professions, most lawyers in berlin for example were jewish. The nazis actually exagerated the figures so it does seem odd that the idea of the sub human should fit in with all these highly qualified people who have worked their way into positions of influence in order to attempt to subvert the system.
On the question of Ayrian purity - with the exeption of Heydrich the entire leadership would have failed the test as Hitler,Himmler,Geobbels ect were all small,swarthy,dark skinned men who were miles away from the image they were trying to create....funny that...
