7)I think so. As a historian, i think that the type of field work that archeologists do are extremely impotant to giving a wider understanding to the past.

9)In a stereotypical kind of way, yes it is glamarous. The image of dedicated people on a dig somewhere exotic finding lost relics is pretty glamarous.
10)Probably not, there must be a lot more tedious work, such as catalogging.

12)In some ways it is good - it encourages people to work hard and inspires them to become archeaologists. However, it gives a untruthful view of the job, which can lead to dissapointment and an eventual underappreciation for the work archeaologists do.
