Dear eddy, Whilst pondering the myesteries of the universe, ihad a suden burst of inspiration. Who commissioned the CDRom? What did they specify was to be the content? Who designed the material? What prior knowledge of the the classics did they have? What input was given to the design by educationalists and others? Who picked the name of the company that produced the CDrom and what other materials have they issued? Did the PPHC consider these factors when doing the research?

Walter Lang challenges this assertion. You need to read the whole 'Visions of Atlantis" news report. Page 1 (in reference to a shown map) gives the note that "the size of the regions of Africa and Asia take up just under half of the screen. Later, this height is compared with another enlarged map". The second of two maps with the five rings that you saw in the News Headlines introduction is that enlarged map. It depicts five rings around the island of Corsica. The square bordered region of the insert map takes up about three quarters of the screen. Plato's account is correct. Visually and literally, compared to the landmass of Libya and Asia that take up only the lower half of the screen, this map that includes the island of Corsica is larger (in height). This is what is being reported by Plato in the 'Atlantis story'. I will start to provide answers to your first set of queries early next week. The next sets of information will follow in due course. Replies as promised quote: Some problems I have with this theory is; assuming time travel was possible you would expect the time travellers to take the latest up to date computer with them.
I agree - this would be the expectation. So there must have been a very good reason not to do so. When the responses by all the ancient people (who have had an encounter with a messenger telling them of future history) are compiled and examined, their stories are very similar - even to the extent that they perceive the time traveller as either a god or an angel, and that the voice from their oracle apparatus was from God and the images seen were like being in a dream or having daytime visions. This encounter and/or the retold story of their encounter with these things spawned the various religions and religious ideas. They all seem to have made a similar mistake. This was due to them having no idea that the imagery they were seeing was from a future 'modern' computer and the stories of war were from 1991 AD and not from their own past. Why a daggy old 386 PC computer ? At some time in the future, someone was going to notice that the images from a certain cd-rom that runs on a certain computer match to the described imagery by nearly all the ancient prophets. That someone was Ronald Pegg from Queensland Australia. In contrast to all the previous ancient people who were shown the images on a computer due to some type of time travel, Pegg just went out and bought the current 'modern' computer package from his local shop - which just happened to include one of the cd-roms. If a different type of computer was taken back to the past each time, then there would not be a consistent trail of clues documented in ancient texts that could be traced back (forward) to a particular computer system (as I summarized in a previous post). Ronald Pegg claims that this testimony declared at the front of the Book of Mormon by Joseph Smith accounts for the two cd-roms - Ancients and Grolier - where: The "stones" = the compact disks; The "breastplate" = the base-plate that holds a compact disk in place; The "silver bows" = the two plastic cases (seen depicted held in the cropped Mormon picture). quote: The Plates of Brass brought by the people of Lehi from Jerusalem ir. 600 B.C. These contained " the five books of Moses,... Can you provide the chapter and verse which actually confirms what you say, since the only mention of 144,000 speaks of people not megabytes.
You first need to read the REVELATIONS summary section of the "Fulfilled Prophecies" portion (via a link in the RESOURCE CENTRE of the member area of the PPHC-SG) to become aware of how much of the Ancients cd-rom is being described by John. Here is an extract of my investigation into Revelations 14:1-3. quote: "14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written on their foreheads."
The "Lamb" = the visual outline of the Mediterranean Sea from the Ancients cd-rom, but from a religious context = Jesus.
His "father" = the father of the Lamb, being the religious (Hebrew) God - YhWh.
"on their foreheads" = the Hebrew custom of placing phylacteries (little boxes containing extracts from the Old Testament) on one's head.
The "144,000" = the file data size seen on the Windows File Manager window.
Word 3735 "mount" means 'a mountain (as lifting itself above the plain)'. This visually describes the mountain from the Etruscan presentation (whose icon is part Lion).
Greek word 4622 "Sion" means 'a hill of Jerusalem' and Hebrew word 6726 "Zion" means 'a mountain of Jerusalem'. Another name for Jerusalem as used in the Old Testament and of which John would have been aware is "Ariel" (H-word 740) and means 'Lion of God' (but we now know God = the five gods of the Ancients' Introduction sequence).
In the context of Revelations (cf. 21:2) and from a religious context "Sion" refers to the spiritual 'city of Jerusalem' and using its alternative name Ariel, "Sion" = the Lion city of the gods.
The "mount Sion" = the Lion's city on top of the mountain overlooking the plains of the Etruscan screen.
John has described the location of the Etruscan city from the Ancients cd-rom and has implied the Hebrew Faith by using the analogy that the Father of the Lamb, God (named YhWh, as written in the Old Testament), is placed on a believer's head. This dates from circa 1230 BCE (being when God's name was given to Moses. cf. Exodus 3:14).
"14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:"
"I heard a voice from heaven" = John heard the soundtrack associated with the sea-Sky image.
"Voice of many waters" = the sound of the waves (seen on the screen), and figuratively = the vocal synth ensemble (of many people).
"Great thunder" = the roar of the breaking surf of the sea (of the Introduction sequence).
"Harpers harping" = the harp soundtrack of the Voyage and Map page screens.
"14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth."
"Before the throne" = on the computer's screen.
"before the four beasts and the elders" sets the location of the "new song" and means that a new soundtrack is heard from one of the civilizations selected from the "four beast" and "elders" screen (Map page). That icon was described in 14:1 as "mount Sion" being the mountain of the Lion icon.
When the Lion icon is selected, a different background soundtrack is heard.
"No man could learn that song but the 144,000" = the soundtrack was only heard when the highlighted mediterr.exe data file in the Windows File Manager window (cf. 14:1) was selected.
Word 59 "redeemed" means 'to go to market' and by implication 'to purchase'.
"Earth" = the land of the Map page.
"Redeemed from the earth" = to go to market from the Map page, and describes the general market place setting from the Etruscan city (where the new soundtrack is heard).
John specifically relates the "songs" as only coming from the computer screen (throne) via the 144,000 data file, and that they are associated with the animal icons (four beasts) and alphabetic letters (elders) from the Map page (earth) of the Ancients cd-rom.

What we read in our modern English Bibles is a modern 'understanding' based upon modern religious interpretations - which is up to two thousand years apart from the original intention. (See separate "Introduction to Ronad Pegg" post) Just because we have been told 'what it means' by religious scholars does not mean that they are correct. Here is a summary of our investigations concerning the seven seals: (used with permission) quote: Overview of the Seven Angels sounding are accounts of seven audio-visual presentations from three different cd-roms.
John lists the sequence of imagery as the 'angels' sounding = the audio-visual presentations, then the next set of images, then which icon; then what the presentation contains (but not necessarily in that order).
8:7 The First audio-visual: the Introduction sequence, followed by the two toned red Windrose, then the Map page, select the third icon (Greek Capital); Trees and a Crop.
8:8-9 The Second audio-visual: The orange mountain that reaches down to the sea of the Greek civilization, the third one is the Red Waves sequence. The third icon (Trade) behind the Ship icon (Economy) has life, when the third animal icon in the sea (of the Map page) is selected.
8:10-11 The Third audio-visual: comes from a third icon that causes a superimposition over the waters, after the red Windrose (star) in the sky and its associated red words fall from view. This star is the cause of religious bitterness between three groups of people. This bitterness results in the death of many people.
8:12-13 The Fourth audio-visual: the forms of the windrose icon and the red text and the large white text of the Closing Credits were struck (with the cursor). The third heading (in the KNOWLEDGE TREE section of the Grolier cd-rom) is highlighted by a black highlight bar. Move three more levels through the menu topics but do not lighten any of those topics, then darken the third Heading. John has described how to find the Persian Gulf War text information in the Knowledge Tree section by selecting the third heading (History), moving through three more levels of sub-topics, then selecting the third Heading in the Wars section.
John then selected the Multimedia Maps icon at the centre top of the screen and saw the three men above a map (of the Middle East), and heard the narrator's voice during the presentation. He also mentions the trumpet sound from the Introduction of a third cd-rom.
He notes that although he saw, he also heard the information (meaning he had to be told by the time traveller).
9:1-12 The Fifth "angel sounded" refers to what was seen in the text behind the Knowledge Tree - PGW section.
9:13-21 The Sixth angel that sounded refers to (the narrator's voice from) the animated audio-visual presentation from the Multimedia Maps section.
The Seventh angel sounding his trumpet (of 11:15) introduces the Redshift2 cd-rom (described in Revelations chapter 12) that begins with a trumpet introduction.

The "cloud of the Lord" is also mentioned in Exod 24:15 "And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount" and refers to the "glory of the Lord" (cf' Ex 16:10 "the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud"). The glory cloud = the shadowed white bordered highlight box that appears around the active icons on the Greek mountain (and Etruscan hillock) as the cursor is moved up and around the screen (ie. up the mountain). "throughout all their journeys" = throughout all their journeys to the different civilizations shown on the map from the Ancients cd-rom. "by day" refers to the daytime pictures. "by night" = the blank black screens between civilizations that give the perception of a day's journey (ie over night). The "fire" = the red flickering names that appear next to many of the icons in block letters when the cursor passes over the active icons. "in the sight of all the house of Israel" = the ancient Israeli people saw the Ancients cd-rom. The "tabernacle" is a reference to parts of the computer transport box that contained the monitor (called a window). See separate posts about "Noah's Ark" and the "Contents of the Tabernacle" on this forum. quote: (Mormon) book of Alma 37:38-39 "I have somewhat to say concerning the thing which our fathers call a ball, or director—or our fathers called it "Liahona, which is, being interpreted, a compass…it was prepared to show unto our fathers the course which they should travel in the wilderness"
"compass" = the compass (red windrose) seen on the Voyage screen from the Ancients cd-rom. Hebrew word 4057 "wilderness" means 'a pasture' (where cattle and animals are driven) and refers to the field of animals seen on the Map Page. "it was prepared to show unto our fathers the course which they should travel in the wilderness" = the compass from the Voyage screen was used by people in 600BC to journey to the civilizations seen on the 'field' of the map page. This is factually, physically, and visually correct. After each visit we are returned to the Voyage screen that contains the compass. Ezekiel 1:15-28 explained. (extract used by permission) quote: 1:15-18
"1:15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four."
This is describing the four blue rings within a larger ring image seen on the Places page from the Etruscan presentation, that have red dots and white Headings for seventeen towns that are located on the Italian peninsula. "rings were full of eyes" = full of visual information.
"1:19-21 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels."
When the cursor (spirit) clicks on the wheeled map, an enlarged map of the Italian peninsula is seen on a new page (earth lifted up).
"1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above."
"upon the heads of the living creature" = the headings (names) of the towns that are in white lettering, which correspond to the numerous towns depicted as red dots (red coals).
"1:24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an army: when they stood, they let down their wings."
"the noise of great waters" = the noise of breaking surf from the 'five gods' introduction sequence.
"the voice of the Almighty…speech" = the narrator's voice from the Military presentation.
"the noise of an army" = the battle sounds from the Military presentation.
"1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it."
"the likeness of a throne, above the firmament that was over their heads" = the Header section of the screen that contains various menu icons (such as the Places map icon).
"the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it" = the History icon that is in the image of a soldier (man) which is in the Header section (throne).
"1:27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. 28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake."
On the Etruscan main page, the Military icon is a soldier (similar to the one depicted in the history icon).
"from the appearance of his loins, the colour of amber, the appearance of fire" = around the loins of this man are the colours yellow (amber) and red.
"the appearance of the brightness round about" = the white highlight box that appears around the soldier (and other icons) when the cursor passes over them.
"As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain" = while white, this highlighted box looks misty, like a cloud.
"the glory of the LORD" = this cloudy white box that appears around icons in both the Etruscan and Greek presentations.
"I heard a voice" = Ezekiel heard the narrator from the military presentation speak.

The square bordered region of the insert map takes up about three quarters of the screen.” That leads to the point about, what does it say on the CD what those five rings actually represent, after all we only have your word that they are the five zones of Atlantis. "The size of the regions of Africa and Asia take up just under half of the screen. Later, this height is compared with another enlarged map". However, Plato quotes and that is a very important point, quotes Critias as saying it is as large as Asia and Libya in area, not Asia and Africa as you say. Whilst on the subject of Atlantis, I do assert that Corsica is not Atlantis on the basis of what Plato had written in the only known sources of the legend “This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean, for in those days the Atlantic was navigable; and there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles; the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together, and was the way to other islands, and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent which surrounded the true ocean; for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent.” Italics Morse Since Corsica is within the Med and not the Atlantic, which was where Plato place the City., then it can not be the site of Atlantic Which leads us on to some thing else concerning the Atlantis story, Plato introduces the story in Critias by saying it is nine thousand years in the telling! In Timaeus he quotes Critias as saying, Critias: I will tell an old-world story which I heard from an aged man; for Critias, at the time of telling it, was as he said, nearly ninety years of age, and I was about ten. Now the day was that day of the Apaturia which is called the Registration of Youth, at which, according to custom, our parents gave prizes for recitations, and the poems of several poets were recited by us boys, and many of us sang the poems of Solon, which at that time had not gone out of fashion. One of our tribe, either because he thought so or to please Critias, said that in his judgment Solon was not only the wisest of men, but also the noblest of poets. The old man, as I very well remember, brightened up at hearing this and said, smiling: Yes, Amynander, if Solon had only, like other poets, made poetry the business of his life, and had completed the tale which he brought with him from Egypt, and had not been compelled, by reason of the factions and troubles which he found stirring in his own country when he came home, to attend to other matters, in my opinion he would have been as famous as Homer or Hesiod, or any poet.” Therefore the story is not only nine thousand years old, but it was told to Critias when he was ten years old! Which leads us to this “Plato's account is correct” on what basis other than a supposed belief that Plato is true, do you base your conclusion,. Have you any contemporary documents which prove Plato right?

We really have dinosaurs today, without any question. You just need the right weather conditions, as I see it, to get huge creatures. And in the ocean, of course, we have huge creatures....this is where the plesiosauruses seem to be today, and perhaps also this fire breathing dragon is still down there -- very rare, but occasionally there.
