John hanson: technically the first president even george washington called him mr.president. shortly after the revolution, the continental congress assembled. He was the first president to be sworn in of 16.

Thomas jefferson: built his own home, invented swivel chair, spoke 5 languages.
John-quincy adams- Loved to skinny dip in the potomac, one day a reporter stole his clothes
Andrew jackson: wife smoked a pipe
William harrison: was killed by his own inagural address. He delivered it in the rain and died of pnmonia 31 daysd later. Has shortest term of any president.
John taylor: Found out he was president while playing marbles with his sons.
David rice atchison: was president for a day because john taylor refused to be inagurated on sunday.
Franklin pierce:Accidently ran over an old lady.
