Enjoying it here too! There's a bit of arguable 'dramatic embroidery' but that's TV I guess. Have you switched to BBC 2 right after the programme? 'Egyptian Journeys' is a brilliant 30 minutes on a different aspect of Egyptian ancient history every week. It's accurate (in terms of most current accepted literature) and very well presented.
I think we can allow a little drama as the average viewer expects a good complete story these days. Matthew Kelly has been very good too and I agree on Ddan's follow-up progs. My only gripe is this confident assertion about the dating, notably the Battle of Kadesh. David Rohl's work has shown that the received wisdom is very definitely wrong and the dates need to be reduced by about 250 years. C4 should show his series again.
