1 i hate the evil ones (supermarkets) always blaming the customer nearly all the statements centre around the customer,s choice blah blah bull. the supermarkets influence the customers choice in the way they over stock and loss lead the bad stuff like the tortured chickens and only have a small selection of free range chickens HOW CAN WE CHOOSE IF our options are limited ( highlighted on hughes show) many shelves of tortured chickens very little free range how about the supermarkets price dropping the free range chicken.

how can we be sure when we pay a premium price for our eggs/birds we are not just helping tesco's earn another billion or helping the profits of the other supermarkets.

The answer there is really easy if you have the ability to do it.

Bypass the supermarket totaly for all eggs & fresh chicken products, source a butcher, box delivery scheme, local farm shop who deal in free range, make a difference where it counts, the supermarkets make enough money as it is.

i do all those things except the farmers market here in bicester they charge themselves out of my price range instead of charging more than they would have recieved from the supermarkets but still keeping it real they go to the other extreme, a joint of beef enough to feed my family of 6 £55.00 i walked over and got one from the butcher for £20.00. i only buy what i have to from the supermarket and NEVER BUY OWN BRAND they make lots more profit on that

hi guys is any one there or are you all gone bed i liked last night program i just hope that all those people that buy cheep crap chicken was watchin im a vegie that buys free range mayo and stuff i think that those poor male chicks could be but at use for the starving of this world example ethioper could benifit. the whole world wont turn vegie i know but atleast the starvin could benifit from our unessersery waste
