Jamie oliver has changed so much. Even my school where I am a goverm=nor and we ahve been working on scholl meals since 1999 has finally begun to change, They were so proud that they were reducing the amount of chips but now we went in me and another governor and we had sweet and sour chicken with red peppers, courgettes, and onions and rice to go with it and my friend had fishcakes and we both had a side salad fo rno extra cost and the kids were eating this good stuff as well. when we started 90% of children were eating chips with gravy or chips with beans or burgers. So thanks fo rchanging the mood of the country though our school still ahs a long way to go. yet when we organised in the town a harvest barn dance with all healthy food there was no salad left at all at the end, all the carrot, celery and cucumber sticks went and the organic wholemeal rolls were all appreciated and so on. It just shows that it is possilbe.
