The hangover thread inspired me to ask what everyone's favourite tipples are?
Ale for me has to be real but Guinness is perfection in a pint. Wine-wise, I like either but white tends to be a preference. And on the spirit side Tia Maria or Whisky is delightful. And does anyone else think mixers are a waste of time?

I enjoy anything really....Lager, vodka...my dad drinks 'Black Russians' (for those of you that don't know, that is Vodka, Tia Maria and Coke...)and they taste beautiful with a bit of ice! Like i said i will drink anything....

Vodkas the only spirit I can't drink neat or on the rocks. But definately lemondade over coke as a mixer.
Now whiskey, however, should not be mixed.

I drink anything other than vodka! Used to be able to drink it like water, (not clever I know, the silly things you do when you are young) and had a bad experience so now I cannot even smell the stuff without feeling sick (kinda hard because I work in a pub duh lol) but Im not one to savour flavours, I dont drink that often but when I do mainly the reason is to get drunk, so shots are the best really

After drinking 250ml of vodka in half a hour never again have i gone near the stuff and I drank it neat plus I was only 13 unlike now and I've grown up but I'm never going near it ever again.

I downed a bottle of the stuff, ended up passing out on a park bench and carried home by a mate and someone I never even knew. Very scary if I think back now, really regret it, did seem funny at the time, not that I can remember anything that happened about 10 after I drank it. Oh well, the things you do when your young.

Yeah i know. I was home alone cause my parents had just gone to the pub for a drink when they came back I was passed out on the living room floor.
