I think I know what you mean mman. Perhaps by joining in the game at The Dharma Intiative they think we will all go to that forum to talk about it. I have just looked and I can see that it leads to another forum.

They must realise though that not everyone would go there to discuss it. Some people would rather discuss it here. Others maybe in both places. Many members of this forum are not taking part in the game at all. I can't say I'm overly enthusiastic about it myself.

Who knows what Channel 4 are thinking. Mman there is no need to apologise you are not being a pain. You are only trying to help out. We know that.

How do you get a link in your sig like that Babz? It would be a good idea for me to get one as I post over on the BB General. You have to explain it really well though as I am not the brightest light in the street when it comes to those kind of things.

Thats why the C4 mods didnt really rush to delete...even tho it was a 3rd party link...they kept it hoping we would follow.

Haha ok, im not the best at explaining things so bare with me.

Ok the way i did it;

For starters, you need the link for the petition. what you do, is you go into that thread and then highlight the whole link in the address box. But to save you going to and fro, heres the link ready; http://community.channel4.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4290090682/m/70400626701

So copy that whole link.

Next;
Click reply to the thread so you get the reply box up.
Where you have the smileys/color options above, next to the colour there is one that says 'URL'

Click on the URL link and it should come up with a box and have to spaces to write in. One says 'URL' and the other 'Title'

Click in the white box of the URL and paste the link you have just copied. Then in the white box of the Title, type in 'Save our Lost forum' or anything you want. Then click 'OK'

You then should have a long writing that starts with "[URL=http://" followed by the link you pasted and your title. It should finish off with [/ URL]

Once you got that, copy that whole link thing starting from the first "[URL" to the last "[URL]"

Then go to edit profile, then paste that whole link in. and Viola....you should be done

If you want to write something next to the link, then after the link you put in, put a space and then put what you want in. then spruce it up with colour and boldness if you like.

I hope this is easy enough for you to understand, if not and you get stuck on anything, give us a shout

Can't get it right. I can copy and paste it into my sig but when I post on the forum the whole link address shows up.

I dont see what the Dharma sit has to do with anything...

The majority of people on this forum (like me), have said that we cant even get onto that site...let alone see any forum

And even if we DID manage to get on there and do any of the "Tests", what we WOULD do is come back HOME (ie HERE) to discuss it with all the people we have come to know and trust.....

Not good is it. .....and with no warning.
Did you ever get an explaination as to why they closed it?

They are closing some around here and leaving lesser used ones up. It doesn't make sense.

..if they had an explanation...it would be pants anyway.....not impressed
