Great minds think alike Bomb...i was thinking about coming on and making a poll about this.
I watched it and im with you. The entire voting throughout was diabolical. Terry Wogan was right when he said that this had been one of our best songs for ages...yea granted its not the best but in my opinion it was definately better then last years (perhaps we could have toned it down on the disco lights?

)
And im sorry but it was a hell of a lot better then that Bosnia&('whats its face) song and Spain! Those songs were completely rubbish and i reckon they must have either broken out of a mental asylum or been completely high on drugs to actually go on stage and go through that

. Also, Spain actually got 'booed' for there song!
If the voting was fair, then we would have been higher then them 2 mentioned above and higher then alot of other countries...but its not, its all political voting and thats why, the more we continue on going into this pointless competition, the longer we are going to continue to sit at the bottom of the table and propping it up!
Also, can i say...poor Poland! I thought there song was good and didn't deserve to help prop the table up! No-one likes Poland now and the reason to that is because Poland likes us! - safe to say they are in the same boat as us(?)
What gets me as well...they come to our country..they live in our country and work in our country or if they don't work (well ya'know how it all goes!) But they dont like us or can't be bothered to vote for us!

With that part of the rant out the way, all in all, personally, i didn't like the Russia song and think that Ukraine should have won it (or another certain one but can't remember what it was).
I cant remember most of it now but there were a few that i liked - one of them was Latvias song (Pirates of the sea) - i thought that was groovy

The way Terry Wogan was talking at the end of the Eurovision, it sounds like we won't be going for it next year. And i don't blame us, it's a pointless excercise - We could have the best song in the world, but we wouldn't get no-where for it.
Andy Abraham did great on Saturday night, he sung his heart out, he enjoyed himself, he had a good song despite the media saying its our worst entry ever(But they know diddly squat anyway!), it wasn't one of the worst song of the night - and thats all he could do.
So yes, i think that we should no longer enter the Eurovision song contest. We should take a bow, point our 2 fingers (whatever way tickles ya fancy

) and leave it as that

No, you don't get it, thats why I'm telling you. You think you get it, which isn't the same as actually getting it. Get it? -
