I have absolutely loved this series of Dr Who and David Tennant being the Dr. He has been amazing! I had my doubts but he truly is a great Dr. It's the series finale tonight, and as I am sure most will know, Rose is leaving. The Dr's new companion is going to be called martha....a fact I am very happy about...but thats beside the point. Dr fans, how do you think it's going to happen, who will defeat who? The Daleks or the cybermen??
well if my eyesight proves me right i saw a pic in 2days paper that showed her face to plunger with a dalek so my bets on her bein killed by the wheelie bins. i ain't seen this series or the last one, is it worth watching???

This series has been amazing. When it started after all that time with Christopher Eccleston as the Dr I thought that it would be quite naf but it did grow on me. Then this series came along and through all my doubts it has been absolutely amazing! If you are into the sci-fi spectrum of tv then I would definately give it a chance! David Tennant is truly amazing in this program!
Thanks for the tip now iv got w8 for the next series lol

WOW!!! What an episode! One (if not the) best of the sereis! I half did want to see Rose come to a sticky end, but it was not to be...any bets she'll pop up again? I loved the dalek vs. cybermen, even though it was a bit underplayed. Being a hopeless romantic I absolutley loved the Pete-Jackie reunion scene...
As for David Tennat...I didn't think he was that good to begin with. But I admit as the sereis went on I liked him more and more as the Doctor. But I'm sorry I still prefer Christopher Ecclestone(sp?) as the Doctor- I thought he really balanced out the light side of the Doctor as well as the darker side, whereas I think David Tennat was more of a ligther Doctor, but he really did show his acting chops tonight!
WOW!!! That was amzing! I too will miss my weekly Tennant fix, love him to pieces! I cried so very badly...but wow! That was great! Perhaps next time he will be able to tell his next companion he loves her! Then I can hear 'martha, I love you' passing out of his fine lips!
I have loved Doctor Who for many years (infact I am a bit of a Doctor geek!) and the new series have been great. I still cannot get used to David Tennant as the Doctor and much prefer Chris Ecclestone, but that is the magic of the Doctor, after every regeneration he changes character.
Have to say I hated the ending it was way to sentimental for me, but everyone has their preferences.
I personally can't wait til September when Torchwood begins and I can drool over John Barrowman again *sigh*
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King. A moments thought would have shown him. But a moment is a long time and thought is a painful process.
very said eppy- im glad im still in the uk to see the dr who finale if i wasnt id have to wait till september to see the series
Do you get DW in Australia Si?

now we have to wait till christmas before the next series begins.
No Steve, we get the Christmas special and then have to wait til March/April for the next series. But we do get Torchwood in September which is kinda like DW but more adult, can't wait

i cried all night after it (call me pathetic if you want) it was so emotional
just seeing david tennant crying sets me off (i love him more than anyone else in the whole world - yes even you naus)
I WANT TO SEE THE NEXT SERIES
im curious about the relationship between the doctor and his new companion, seeing as he got so emotionally attached to rose, i will feel a little betrayed if he does the same again
Yes, I knew he was gay many years ago. After seeing him in Chicago I googled him. Can still dream tho, and I do have the half naked signed pic to drool over

Apparently he doesn't, but they might change that for today's audience. They seem to want that 'love interest'. I can do without it personally, as I think it detracts from the show, far too long was spent on the relationship angle. The flirty feel in series 1 was great but became too much this series IMHO.

i know what you mean ramblinrose, but i like the fact that is shows off his human emotions a little more. he has to have an aura of merciless-ness when dealing with monsters etc, but i think its good to show his feelings on the more private side
i think (hope) the writers have the sense to downplay his emotion of human love a little in the third series, as there was such a focus on it in this one

My friend said this too but I have to point out DW isn't human lol. But he spends so long with humans I guess it has to rub off on him sooner or later
