The way it works in the Christian faith is that..If a man or woman divorce their spouse for anything other than marital unfaithfulness, then to remarry would be the same as commiting adultery... The death of a spouse also allows you to move on and love again...

what xena wp said a few posts back. i think thats what the guy would do in that situation. perhaps sink into depression, lose faith and start doing stuff they normally wouldnt

Thats a difficult one, I think most people would lose their faith after something like that.

AR check out the culture forum, you seem to like a good religious debate and they have loads on there, with lots of devout christians and other religions 'debating' with the Atheists. I love going on there for a read its good stuff.

Well... I dont think God would tell anyone outright that this one person is the one for them.
So perhaps this person convinced himself that God told him this... when it was really just himself.

He would have to be married... this is true... and if someone gets married... and their loved one dies, it is perfectly ok for them to be married again to someone else... it isnt breaking any promises.

This person would mourn... and then eventually move on.
