Ok peeps...I decided to take a stand...today is...well maybe...the return of our spinoffs!

For those of you who remember the beautiful SPINOFFS SOCIETY and even thoses who don't...here's a reminder!

KREKK was writing a JACK spinoff called "Your Life in My Hands"

I was writing a SAWYER spinoff called "The Bad Cop"

Lostisland was writing a CHARLIE Spinoff.

JessicaM was writing a KATE spinoff.

Chaniexx was writing a CLAIRE spinoff.

And i think someone claimed Locke and hurley!

Well...unfortunately this thread was deleted, but we figured it would be ok to put it in the Off-Topic Forum...so here goes:

Unfortunatly again...a number of us are having problems uploading our stories so this thread may stay blank for a while...they will retunr however, and don't worry...we're gonna post them from the beginning so you can re-cap!

Hey Brand-ie...I'm guessing you didn't read them the first time around?

They're not Lost related...well, obviously they are but it focuses on their lives after they got off the island!

You see we decided Lost would never end....

The Bad Cop for example....Sawyer is now a cop living in a small southern town with his girlfriend Bianca Crew but everything is not as it seems....

Your Life in My Hands shows Jack back in the hospital kinda with post traumatic stress and moving on with his life...his "friend" Sawyer is a patient...and he's tending to a beautiful girl named Krekk...um I mean Catherine!

You'll enjoy them!

No, but I like the concept. Is it a kind of show of what happened next you do or is it just what happened next to them?

Ok....

Lets see how do I explain...I would just re-post mine but I'm having problems with the memory stick!

Basically it went something like this:

SAWYER: I love being a cop.
BIANCA: And I love you.
SAWYER: That's good.
Sawyer and Bianca had been in love for sometime now, they spent a lot of time together and Sawyer loved how the fiesty brunette was an even match for him in the sarcasm department.
SAWYER: I have to go to work
BIANCA: Shame

FLASHBACK
Now these would either be to the island (usually a new scene we made up) or to how they got to this point in their life after the island.

BTW...do not take the above seriously...I made it up in three seconds just as proof of what happens...check back tomorrow...they may be up!

Yeah class. I was thinking along the lines of a John Locke/ Jeremy Kyle style show but I don't think I'll do that now. I'll think of something else instead.

yo dudettes and dudes, where had krekk been i haven't heard from her for a few days, hope she's ok, maybe her kids are playing her up again. My spinny is just about Charlie after the island and how he finds love ( ) and stuff like that.....

I should do a comedy spin-off featuring Jin and Sun.

But I think I'd get banned for it, it'd feature Jin telling Sun to get in the kitchen a lot.

I think you could do that, ask Beachy....

A Kate Spin Off
Letting Go Of The Fugitive Years
Episode 1

Kate sitting in jail. A police officer opens the door.
OFFICER – Your jail sentence is over, Miss Austin. You are free to go.
A huge relief washes over Kate. She had been in jail for 2 years, and now she was finally free. Able to start again and leave behind everything.
KATE – Thank you.

Flashback - Kate is stood on the beach, surrounded by people screaming and crying with delight. A ship was coming their way, they were going to be rescued. Sawyer comes over to her, his things all packed and ready.
SAWYER – Have you packed your stuff?
KATE – This is it, isn’t it? I’m going to jail.
SAWYER – I’m so sorry, Freckles.
KATE – Me too.
SAWYER – Well, look on the bright side. When you come out, you can start over. Forget everything.
KATE – I’ll never forget.

Kate is walking down the road, with people looking at her, whispering. They must recognise her from all of the pictures that were published in newspapers and magazines. She wonders what the papers would have said about her, perhaps they told everyone to stay away from her, that she was dangerous. She carries on walking when she spots a very familiar face on the other side of the street, Sawyer. She stares at him for a moment. It couldn’t be…but it is. She crosses the road and goes up to him.
KATE – Sawyer?
SAWYER – Freckles?
KATE – Yeah.
SAWYER – How have you…how have you been?
KATE – Locked up in jail.
SAWYER – They found you, huh?
KATE – Yeah. What have you been up to?
SAWYER – Not a lot. But I tell you, us castaways have made some cash since we came back.
KATE – Really?
SAWYER – Magazine interviews, photo shoots, people coming up to you asking you for your autograph. Everyone recognises you.
KATE – You buy any of those magazines?

Kate is sitting in Sawyers apartment, looking through newspapers and magazines. One of the headlines reads “Flight 815 survivors found after 3 years on deserted island”.
KATE – Where we really there that long?
SAWYER – That’s what everyone says.
There is a large, colourful picture of the castaways stood together at the harbour where the ship came back in. Everyone looked happy, even Locke was smiling. But two faces on the picture really struck her: Jack and Sawyer, stood next to each other, smiling, looking like friends.
SAWYER – Shame you weren’t there. You’d have looked good on the front of a magazine. But of course, you had to take off.
KATE – You were friends? You and Jack?
SAWYER – We still are, Freckles.
KATE – Really?
She was surprised by this comment. There was no way that Jack and Sawyer could be friends. They’d spent most of their time on the island bickering and disagreeing.
KATE – You still talk to them?
SAWYER – Who?
KATE – Any of them.
SAWYER – The doc, have a chat with Mike sometimes. Everyone got each others number, so we kind of stick together.
KATE – You got a copy of them for me?

ooooh very good! I'm hooked! But am I right in guessing that theyre not connected? So in one spin off Sawyer has a girlfriend and another he might get off with Kate?

None of the Spinoffs are connected, they're all unique!

A Kate Spin Off
Letting Go Of The Fugitive Years
Episode 2

Flashback – Jack and Sawyer are fighting on the beach. Kate runs over and pulls them apart.
KATE– What’s going on?
JACK– Is it true?
KATE– What?
JACK – You know what I’m talking about.
KATE – Do I?
SAWYER – Surely you can remember last night, Freckles?
Kate stares at him. She couldn’t believe that Sawyer had told Jack that they’d kissed. She didn’t think it had meant anything, they’d both been drunk on Sawyers stash of alcohol and had no idea what they were doing.
KATE – You told him?
SAWYER – Well, I was hardly gonna keep something like that to myself, was I?
KATE – Jack, I…
JACK – Just forget it.
He walks off and leaves Kate feeling very guilty. She hadn’t meant to hurt anyone, especially Jack.

Kate is leaving Sawyers apartment.
SAWYER – Keep in touch, right?
KATE – I will. See you later, Sawyer.
Kate leaves the building and hails a cab and gives the driver an address of a hotel. She gets out at the hotel and goes up to the desk.
KATE– I made a reservation for a room over the phone about 5 minutes ago under Kate Austin.
RECEPTIONIST – Yes, the man who phoned is paying, I believe?
KATE – Yes.
The receptionist hands her a key.
RECEPTIONIST – Room 108.
KATE – Thanks.

She reaches her room and goes straight to the phone, typing in a number from the piece of paper with the 815 survivor’s details on it. Jack answers the phone.
JACK – Hello?
KATE– Hey, Jack.
JACK – Kate?
KATE – Yeah.
JACK – How did you…
KATE – I’ve been to see Sawyer.
JACK – Oh.
KATE – I need to talk to you. Do you think we could meet up somewhere?

Kate is walking down the street and comes to a Starbucks coffee shop. Before she goes in she looks through the window and sees Jack sitting at a table, looking exactly the same as when she last saw him. She goes in and sits down at the table.
KATE – Long time no see, huh?
JACK – Yeah. Still on the run?
KATE – No. I’ve been in jail for the last 2 years.
JACK – They got you?
KATE– Basically as soon as I stepped out of the harbour.
JACK – You said you’d seen Sawyer?
KATE – Yeah. He said you two are best mates.
JACK – Surprising, huh?
KATE– Yeah. You want a coffee? We might be here for a while, we’ve got a lot of catching up to do.
JACK – Go on then.

We jump to Jack and Kate still in the café a good 2 hours later. Kate missed Jack while she was in jail. She’d forgotten how good he made her feel, how strong her feelings for him were, how strong they still are.
KATE – So you went back to working in the hospital?
JACK – Of course. Everything’s back to normal now really. Have you been in touch with Oceanic Airlines?
KATE – No.
JACK – Well I would get in touch with them, they’ll give you $10,000 for “the stress they’ve caused you”.
KATE – I’ll have to get in touch with them then. Has anyone sued them yet?
JACK – Sawyer said he was going to try and find a good lawyer and have a go at it, but he never got round to doing it.
There is a silence while they drink their coffee.
KATE – You wanna take a walk?
JACK – Sure. I’m getting sick of this place.

Kate and Jack are walking through Central Park, laughing and having fun.
KATE – I missed you, you know. I missed this, us.
JACK – Me too. (He pauses for a moment) There was something I never told you on the Island. Something I’d been thinking about for a long time, but I never found the right moment to say it. Kate, I love you.
They stop walking and stand still. Kate’s heart skipped a beat. She couldn’t believe that she was finally hearing him say this, the thing that she’d been thinking about saying to him.
KATE– I love you too.
She starts to cry and he takes her hand, and they share a long kiss, Kate feeling the happiest she’d been in a very long time.

yes thats right, but as i joined the spinnys first, i saw that in krekks sawyers gf was beachy, same in beachys, where krekk was jacks gf. i'm having a similar thing but the character i have that falls in love with charlie, well, thats me...

Right - Here's my Locke show.

DESTINY (If you can think of a better name it'd be appreciated)

Part 1

Locke is in a theatre in Chicago telling the crowd about his experience on the island. It was his way of profiting on his experience.

Locke: "...me and Jack looked down the hatch that night and couldn't see anything. When we got down there though, i'll tell you, it was the biggest surprise I got for a while."

Audience Member: "It's true to say you and Jack weren't exactly friends. How did you fell on your relationship?"

Locke: "Yeah, it was tough. He didn't really like me from the start. When we went looking for Charlie and Claire after Ethan took them was when I first realised we weren't going to get along. He doesn't believe in destiny or miracles as he works in a trade where there are no such things as miracles. There's a lot worse people than him though."

FLASHBACK

Locke and Jack stand at the beach discussing what to do after the others attacked them.

Jack: "We have to go looking for them John. We've guns in the hatch, we can take them."

Locke: "We can't."

Jack: "What?"

Locke: "Whoever these people are Jack, it's clear that they're smarter than us. They've been here longer. For pitys sake Jack, how'll we find them? They don't leave tracks."

Jack: "Well we can't do nothing. They've already killed Walt, they've sent a spy to our camp, oh, and we found out they killed......"

Locke: "...and they'll kill us if we hunt them through revenge."

Jack: "Well I'm going after them."

Locke: "I'm not stopping you."

END OF FLASHBACK

Locke: "That's all Ladies and Gentlemen. Thanks for coming tonight."

Locke walks off the stage when his manager comes up to him

Manager giving Locke a phone: "It's for you"

Locke: "Hello?"

Voice: "Hello John"

Locke: "Dad?"

Ooooh, well done HAC!! That was brill, nothing like a good cliffhanger at the end of an episode!

A Kate Spin Off
Letting Go Of The Fugitive Years
Episode 3


Kate is in a car and pulls up outside a small house in a quiet part of town. She now has a new home, a new car and a fantastic new boyfriend, Jack. Letting go of the past pays off, huh? She enters the house and a light is flashing on her phone, indicating she has a voice mail message. It’s Sawyer.
SAWYER – Hey Freckles. Jack told me you two got together, finally. I knew it would happen in the end. We’re going out tonight for a meal cos I got myself a girl, too. Jack’s gonna pick you up at half seven. See you then.

Flashback – Kate is sitting on the beach at night time with Sawyer, when Sawyer sees Jack run into his tent.
SAWYER – What the hell is he doing in my stuff?
Sawyer storms off and Kate runs after him.
KATE – Sawyer!
SAWYER – What on earth do you think you’re doing, doc?
JACK – You have some stuff I need.
SAWYER – What?
KATE – Jack, what’s going on?
JACK – It’s Claire.
We go to the caves where Jack is stood looking over Claire, who is laid where Boone was when he died. Kate comes running in and sees Claire for the first time. She is bruised and bloodied, covered in cuts, wounds and blood.
KATE – What happened to her?
JACK – I don’t know. We heard her screaming in the jungle, and when we went she was lying on the ground like this.
KATE – Is she okay?
JACK – She’s lost a lot of blood and is having difficulty breathing. She’s got a fever and her wounds are infected.
KATE – But she’ll be okay, right?
JACK – I hope so.

Jack pulls up outside Kate’s house in a car and pips the horn. Jack looks very handsome dressed in a smart suit. Kate comes out the house and Jack smiles to himself. Kate looks beautiful, dressed in a dark blue, floor length dress, her hair curled and draping around her shoulders. She gets in the car.
JACK – You look very different in a dress.
KATE – Good different or bad different?
JACK – Good different.
KATE – And you look very dashing in a suit.
JACK – Let’s go then.

They pull up outside a very fancy restaurant and go inside. They see Sawyer and his girlfriend sitting at a table. His girlfriend is a very pretty young blonde woman, and Kate can’t help feeling jealous of her.
SAWYER – You guys finally made it.
JACK – You can’t have been here that long.
SAWYER – Long enough. Jack, Freckles, this is Chantelle. Chantelle, this is Jack and Kate, my buddies from the Island.
JACK – Nice to meet you.
CHANTELLE – You too.
SAWYER – Can we order now, cos I’m starving?

Jump to Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Chantelle sitting at their table, empty plates in front of them. Sawyer and Chantelle are sat giggling and kissing, and Kate can’t help thinking what he sees in her. She seems so full of herself, so popular, the kind of girl you know is going to talk about you as soon as you turn your back. “I don’t care, why should I be jealous? I’ve got Jack, he’s so sweet, kind, generous, handsome…I don’t care about Sawyer”. Kate is pulled out of her thoughts by Sawyer.
SAWYER – Well if you’ll excuse me, I’m going outside to have a smoke.
KATE – You said you were gonna give up.
CHANTELLE – Why should he? I he enjoys it why should he give it up?
SAWYER – Exactly my point. Excuse me.
Sawyer gets up and leaves. Chantelle also gets out of her seat.
CHANTELLE – I think we’re gonna take off. I could do with an early night. See you around.
Jack and Kate watch her leave.
KATE – I can’t stick her.
JACK – I can’t say I care for her either.
KATE – You wanna get out of here?
JACK – Yeah, I could do with an early night too.
KATE – You can stay at my place tonight, if you want to?
JACK– I’d like that.
KATE – Let’s go.
Flashback – Jack is sitting on the beach, looking teary eyed. Kate comes and sits next to him.
KATE – Are you okay?
JACK – Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?
KATE – It’s not your fault, Jack. She was in a pretty bad state. It wouldn’t have been fair to let her live through that pain.
JACK – But what about her baby? Who’s going to look after him?
KATE – I’m sure we’ll all pitch in. Charlie will definitely want to help.
JACK – Yeah.
KATE – Claire wanted you to let her go. She didn’t want anymore pain.
