Part 10

A few days later and Locke was in his sitting room watching tv. He thought his decision to let Charlie go would come back to haunt him but it hadn't. He felt good that he controlled himself unlike the time he killed Jack. It was obvious his visits to the shrink were working.

His phone began ringing...

Locke: "Hello?"

Charlie: "John, I told you not to..."

Locke: "Not to what?"

Charlie: "I'm sorry John. I didn't mean to kill her. I just...i...needed the money bad."

Locke: "It's ok. I've forgiven you, hard and all it was."

Charlie: "Then why is your mother's sister pointing a gun at my face?"

Charlie's end hangs up....

[B]FLASHBACK

Charlie once again attempts to talk to Locke...

Charlie: "I want to quit again John."

Locke: "Well I will not waste my time keeping the drugs from you Charlie."

Charlie: "I know. But you could help me burn the plane. Get rid of it all.

Locke looks at Charlie. A grin breaks out on his face..

Locke: "I thought you'd never ask."

END OF FLASHBACK

An hour had passed and Locke had tried several times to call Charlie back but failed each time.

The TV channel boomed out "BREAKING NEWS"

News Presenter: "It is belived that an incident has occured in Manchester at the home of Oceanic Flight 815 survivor, Charlie Pace. We now cross live to Manchester to our British reporter......"

Locke to himself: "Oh no, she couldn't have. Please tell me she hasn't".

British Reporter: "That's right Bill, there has been gunfire in the home of the former member of Driveshaft, Charlie Pace."

News Presenter: "Any ideas as to who shot him or any other info?"

British Reporter: "Not at the moment although it is believed that the person, a woman apparently, was in her fifties. Charlie Pace's condition is described as critical but I'll keep you updated as soon as anything happens."

Locke booked the next flight to London. He was not going to let one of his friends from the island die without telling him that he was forgiven for what he'd done...

Poor thing...never stood a chance....

Though I'm really liking this spin-off...FABULOUS!

Well, apart from the death...but it does add great Drama!

PART 11

Locke runs into the hospital Charlie is in. Charlie has been in intensive care for the last two days.

Locke runs up to the receptionist at the hospital...

Locke: "Can I see Charlie Pace please?"

Receptionist: "He's in intensive care. No-one apart from family are allowed in.."

Locke: "PLEASE. I'm a close friend of his....Locke begins to break down in tears.... Please."

Receptionist: "Ok. I'll get someone to take you to him..."

FLASHBACK
Locke and Charlie sit watching the beach craft full of drugs burn

Locke: "What drove you to make this decision Charlie?"

Charlie: "I couldn't stand the way you and Claire would've have treated me."

Locke: "So you only did it for us?"

Charlie: "No, I did it for myself too. I need to get rid of my demons John."

Locke: "You're a confusing man Charlie. But you're still a good man."

END OF FLASHBACK

Locke goes into the intensive care. He sees Charlie who's barely able to speak. He goes over to him...[I]

Locke [i]already crying: "Charlie, what have I done?"

Charlie: "John?"

Locke: "Yeah, I'm here Charlie."

Charlie: "Why?"

Locke: "I didn't send her. She was a sister of my mother. I told her not to.....she wouldn't listen....I....erm....I could've stopped her better I suppose...I...I thought I talked her out of it.."

Charlie: "It's ok John. I knew you wouldn't do something like that."

Charlie's heart monitor begins to beat frantically...

Locke: "Charlie? CHARLIE?"

Nurses run into intensive care.

Locke: "What's wrong? What happened?"

Nurse: "I'll have to ask you to...."

Locke: "CHARLIE, IT'S OK. I'M HERE...

Nurse: "Sir, I'm afraid you'll have to...."

Locke: "Make sure he survives....PLEASE!"

Nurse: "Yes Sir, but you'll have to leave."

Locke: "Ok, Ok."

Locke waits outside waiting for news on Charlie.

Locke to himself: "Why Kim? Why have you done this to me?"

A Nurse walks out to Locke to deliver the news...

Locke: "Is he ok? Is Charlie ok?"

Charlie: "Sir, i'm afraid there were complications. We weren't aware of his heroin addiction which in turn led to wrong decisions being made. I'm sorry to have to tell you this but, he's dead".

but at least he's alive in my one....and beachys one....and krekks one...and jessM's one....and maybe Chanie's one if she lets him survive (for more info on that wait until Chanie comes into here and posts it again)

thats ok HAC, i'm not mad, you got off lucky, but if i go through that again i might just brake something....or someone #everyone runs out of the room#

Thought i'd let him die nicely unlike Jack. At least Locke got to see him, eh?
