He would have been remembered for all the right reasons if he hadn't of reacted so rashly. He would have taken a penalty and they might have won. He lost the world cup for France.

He is one of the all time great players and I hope he isn't remembered for this 1 act.

The only player who missed a penalty (Trezeguet) would still have taken a penalty, so you can't really say he's lost it for them.

Zizou will be remembered as a great player no matter what he did in the final.

As with England. You can't blame losing a game on one player. If the team did not do enough to win it in normal time, they have no-one to blame but themselves. Italy had the better keeper anyhow.
