he didnt play crap for half the season! and yeah i do know he was considered second best player in the world
as for the players in his position....hes an attacking midfielder yet he gets stuck in places and games where he is forced to defend and fetch balls as his holding midfield player is either sending crap balls or trying to miss the midfield out of the game completely

no way is he overrated hes a class player....hes had a bad few weeks but hes not the only one so dont act like he is

There's no doubt he is very good, but there are many players better than him, but the award of second best player in the world doesn't suggest this, hence he is overrated! He's half the player Gerrard is too.

He scores plenty of goals but that just takes away the fact he is lacking in many areas.

at the time those awards were given lamps was having the best season of his life....he was scoring in every game...scoring for england....getting the ball to other players accurately and doing everything that a midfielder should do
