Just been watching a show about lottery winners. Some have been sensible and not gone too wild, others have blown the lot. What would you do if you won, say, £3 million?

I've never bought a lottery ticket - complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned. Razz

Can u imagine winning like a double rollover (if there is such a thing) when you were like 16 then u would be set for life! Did you hear the interest that guy would get on his 8 million winnings if he put it in the bank, about 600,000 a year!!! Wowee Eek I'm getting a little over excited!

PS those of you with a regular salary might want to set up a donation to a charity from your bank acount... only a fiver a month, or even every other month, every 4 months etc.. up to you how much and how often, but could really make a difference Smile

A 16/17 year old girl did win it once. If I remember the article right she was saying that it ruined her life and all that kinda stuff.

Yeh, her name was Carrie - she lives not too far from me.

We're always hearing people say how money has ruined their lives but that always reminds me of a quote, I don't know who said it though:

"I've been rich. I've been poor. I prefer being rich."

Well, last time I mention it Smile... but: not enough people do give regularly to charity. It's not like most of us would miss a small ammount each month... so think about it as it can really make a difference! Smile Ok, I'll shut up now Big Grin
