I thought last night trick was simple but amazing and for Glen to come a solo second, was nail biting to watch as the results hit the board... I reckon the only way Labour could have suceeded in recent local elections is to ask darren

it was really good to see how far Photographic memory can go. I wouldnt mind knowing how to do that myself i cant wait to see David Tennant on the show it should be rather entertaining

i found tonights show very upsetting and have complained to ofcom. i was very moved by what he did! and that was the TREAT!! i dont care that he might have a loophole to kill it.. a little kitten kept in that tank under bright hot lights NOT VERY HAPPY
I was a bit concern about tonights show my first instinct was....They would not kill a cat on the show....He was reading my mind then he said their was a loop hole. Dont forget Blue Peter have animals on the show and their is bright lights also i dont think Channel 4 would harm an animal !! BUT what a show when he asked her to draw a picture she read my mind I said i would draw a cat. Im glad it was a GOOD ENDING. I know how it feels not having conferdance.
Wow what a show it was last night. if u like this show i feel u should go out right now and get his book worth every penny although i have lost mine took it a way with me and misplaced not bad for a 25 year old haha. Think that has something to do with my dyslexia and bad short term memory. I have seen him live in my home town Manchester which was amazing. The only problem i have is I have never seen his ad's to be on the shown in my area which is bad as i would love to go on it so if u read this Derren get ur ass to Manchester lol. Anyway the shows is great as all his other work so cheers channel 4 for this great show. ps sorry if this is hard to follow i have dyslexia
Watched the first show on catch-up yesterday. SO disappointed. It's simply not possible as a concept and left me wondering where the trick was. Something as base as fixing the scores? It was like the previous series where the girl "learned" to play the piano, but without the reveal!
I'm a HUGE Derren Brown fan - all his books and going to see him in June, 3rd row seats. Got my dubious housemate to watch with me and felt like such a mug as he ripped the episode apart. I was confident that there'd be an explanation at the end and was left with egg on my face.
Will watch the next one - again on catch up because I work Friday nights - but if it's no better I'm tempted to sell my tickets.
I dream of detox dont sell your tickets, I went to his show at Blackpool it was fantastic I could have watched him all night. Go with the flow and have fun. dont sell your tickets! are you mad! you should know by now that Derren doesnt give away most of his techniques. if he told us how to use the photographic memory technique we will all be using it! to me that wouldnt be fair as that would be cheating
I thought the show was amazing...just like it normally is. When i first saw the kitten episode preview i was a little bit concered, but its obvious they would not kill a kitten on channel 4! There is no need to complain about it, all i can say is that if you dont like or agree with whats happening....dont watch it!! Cant wait for tonights show! David tennants on and travels back in time.
Got to say I just saw David Tennants trick or treat and well if Derren can predict the future, please help me predict the 6 main numbers that will come out in tomorrows lotto game.

Derren says in the episode he has his own techniques.
Interestingly he says that the peripheral reading technique fades after a couple of days yet the competition is in a week.
This would mean that he read all the books at least twice!?
Great episode and I wonder what Glen is doing now. Is he building on his knowledge and the techniques? Must be a great thing to achieve in that short time.
