Mickey have not watched all those cult classics but am deffo with you on Angel- I own them on dvd and rarely watch season 5. Don't you think Buffy S5 goes against your theory though??

You know of all the A-Team points we covered in the other forum, we never once mentioned the dodgy stunt doubles. They were so bad, I even remember that from the first time round when I was a kid. BA's was some dude who had a brown shower cap type thing on his head with a dodgy mohican sprouting out of it.

It's fab that so many people are hunting for all things Dirkish!

BTW - some one's mentioned on the BB forum that Dirk's planning on doing a tour of Scotland and Ireland!! What have we started Ruby???!!!!

The stunt doubles I loved. Poor guys. It was as though the casting people went out of their way to choose the four guys hardest to double for. Wigs required for both Hannibal and BA - and boy weren't those wigs dreadful. There used to be a fansite devoted to Hannibal's. I wonder if it still exists?! Then there's beanpole Murdock, and Face who's so slight. Murdock probably had less stunt work than the others, but you notice that he gains a few pounds in long shots sometimes. So does Face. Both George Peppard and Dirk Benedict did as many of their own stunts as they could get away with, but even with that, there's still second unit stuff.

Buffy season five is mostly good, yes. Sadly it's the one when Dawn turned up, though. And I hate Dawn.

Just watched the pilot episode.

Can see why Tim Dunigan didn't last too long as Face! Not got the charm of Dirk!

Enjoyed the double episode though.

George Peppard - what a star he was.

Poor Tim Dunigan. Should never have been there in the first place, though.

Schedule for day:

09:10 - Watch Dirk Benedict on BBC Breakfast.

11:00 - Wait for befuddled mind to finish translating his conversation.

12:30 - Re-run conversation through head. See if it makes sense this time.

Jeepers can that man talk. He can fit five words into the same space everybody else uses for one - and looking so sleepy whilst he does it. He lulls your brain into a false sense of security, then hammers it with a barrage of chatter.

He jumps around a conversation like a kid on a trampoline. I watched an interview with him on You Tube last night it's back in the 90's, I think, on Richard and Judy. He's in the middle of something and another thought jumps in so he throws that out too. Makes him even more interesting to watch having said that.

There was also footage of a guy at a convention filming Dirk and Dwight in full conversation. I'd love to know what they were saying. Imagine meeting Dirk and Dwight!

And I love Children Of Jamestown, especially Face's wifebeater act. And that whole running joke about his teeth. And the continuity, watch the handcuffs. The bad guys take off Amy's at least three times...

And whilst we're on the subject, why does everybody have their hands cuffed in front of them, but Face's hands are cuffed behind?! Who'd he p*ss off?!

Exactly and when Hannibal pushes Face through the window of the shop Face is completely different. The least they could do was zoom out with the camera!

Children of Jamestown is without a doubt my favourite episode of the A-Team. Look carefully at Murdock's dynamite scene towards the end, you'll see him burn his finger.

That settles it. I'm watching that one tonight.

Have just added all the Ateam dvds to my lovefilm rental list!! It's been too long since I saw any of them. Now just have to wait for Dirk to write his new book! Interview was funny- do wonder if most of what he says is a bit tongue in cheek!
