Dirk, Dwight and T always got along very well on set, but I guess with all his health problems and stuff, it's quite likely that he's lost touch with the others in recent years. Plus I don't think they were friends out of hours in anything like the same way as Dirk and Dwight. George Peppard was older and a different sort of personality, but he had a good working relationship with Dirk and Dwight so far as I know. Dirk was the go-between for him and T when they were refusing to speak to each other. Again, I'd imagine they didn't socialise off the set. If he didn't mention them on CBB, I'd guess it was because he saw no reason to. He's not much of one to speak of his past all the time.

i only heard him mention george when the girls thought he was hannibal... apparently he was going to start talking about dwight, but jack off jack interrupted. the t is a bit more serious now days, so probably never mentioned him in respect. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Deputy Sheriff of Stationary Village~ i'm the nuts one! my room and board depends on it... * Hufflepuff of the A-team thread R.I.P. cult tv forum * go altador! * #2 of the IT Crowd Fan Club * #1 of the Moss Fan Club

Thanks for the info, I am only mentioning T because I saw him on a C4 show which were searching for him as he was member of A team, that was first time I had seen Dirk for years. All the others met up but T didnot, therefore I was wondering if he didnt get along with others. Any way has any one any info on T because I havent heard anything about him since he appeared in a boxing movie, was it a Rocky?

------------------------------------------------ This is why I could of hit Jack sometimes, An A team gem would fall from those (beautiful) lips and as Dirk started, Jack asked him if he new the theme from the superman film, No replies Dirk. Then Jack walks off. PAH *Momma of the A team thread.* ♥ ♥ Critical adorer of the Captain and the Scam Artist ♥♥ rosie glad you are back.

Also quite a few years ago, I remember Mr T doing Panto in Aladdin as the genie, cos he was interviewed by Rich and Jude. He also was very poorly in the 90s (i think) but I am relying on memory. In fact he was a first, one of the first americans before Aussie soap stars and Bobby Ewing ( sorry his name escapes me). Oh and type in rare and tv and a full stop, them a com. and you cud find something you like. *Momma of the A team thread.* ♥ ♥ Critical adorer of the Captain and the Scam Artist ♥♥ rosie glad you are back.

T was very ill in the nineties, yes. He had skin cancer and it got very bad. He wasn't expected to survive it. He lost most of his money on medical treatment, and when he was at his lowest ebb, a former personal assistant sued him, claiming that he had helped create the character of BA, and was owed money for that. He seems to have fought his way back, though, and found God in a serious way in the process, which is partly why he's so much more serious now. Then he was very affected by the New Orleans situation, decided that it was wrong of him to wear all the gold anymore, and began to devote a lot of his time to charity work. He seems happy, though. Just a lot more publicity shy than he used to be.

Thanks again, you guys are great, wouldnt know all this without you. I am glad that Mr T is ok and doing well, the A team gave us alot of fun and happiness, so I am glad he is doing fine. I am always wondering what happened to so and so in the old series, especially if they are not acting or we cannot see them on our screens anymore.
By the way, I also just came from CBB site, so in case you all havent been there in a while, I was just saying that Battlestar Gallactica is on Bravo and Bravo +1 Dirk looks a dream and you might just enjoy the series too.

ok, finished the season 2 dvd.. just in time for amazon to email saying season 3 had been dispatched. whoo hoo! must point out i didn't actually cry during curtain call... but i did shout explicatives everytime something else went wrong/go 'awwww' everytime i saw weak murdock/threaten to do things like 'jump up and down on decker's hat' every so often... to tell the truth i spent most of the episode with a big grin plastered on my face from so much murdock. enjoying battlestar, mostly enjoying dirk and lorne... apollo annoys me slightly... even though i've always been scared by robots (don't ask.. two words 'jolly' and 'giant'), i don't actually mind cylons... ok, if one was to appear right now i'd cry (if it didn't kill me first)... war of the gods you mentioned... was the outfit in part one or part two? i've only seen part two...

Part one. Ah well. You've still got Murder On The Rising Star, when it makes its rather longer reappearance. Twice. It is a very popular outfit. *Snigger* I'm getting this impression... just a hint, you understand... that you're something of a Murdock fan?!

Hi Dirkettes. I've found my way from the BB forum. Wow, I didn't know this other forum existed!!
Well, what can I say about the A-Team. I think I have watched every episode several times. One of my favourite episodes was The Children of Jamestown. It was the first episode that Dirk appeared in (Tim Dunigan played Face in the first one). The A-Team were hired to rescue a young girl from a cult and they all (except Murdock)got captured. This episode had monks with guns in it, something which they repeated in the episode Crystal Skull. Now, that was a BAD episode, really cheesy! It involved Murdock, Frankie and Face parachuting onto a remove island and the natives thinking Murdock was god. At the end the natives were chanting "who wrote this, who wrote this" (it's true, they were!)

Ahem. Firstly, welcome allyaina. Any A-Team fan is welcome here. Secondly... we do not mention the F-word! The, er... person who was added to the cast in the fifth season, that is. The fifth season that was just one of Murdock's hallucinations...

Oh really? He was my favorite Yeah, the fifth season was a murdock daydream in the shower. Although I liked some of it like Family Reunion which had a nice bit of character developement

There was good acting in that episode, but ultimately I don't like it. I just don't buy that guy as Face's father - and I'd like to see the alternative ending, when it turned out that he wasn't.

I watched 'one more time' last night. ( The one where they have to rescue an old colleage and his daughter or face prison for 30 years.) I sit me or I got really quite caught up, Face up first for an execution, amy bumming a ride off Murdoch, Letting the plane crash, etc I must admit my eyes were blinking, cos until the last 15 mins I thought it was a two parter!Enjoyed the drama tho. Tonight I will be watching the last 2 episodes of series 1. *Momma of the A team thread.* ♥ ♥ Critical adorer of the Captain and the Scam Artist ♥♥ rosie glad you are back.

I love "One More Time". It's a glorious episode. Hilarious "double moment", when Face turns into a mannequin during the motorbike chase. I love the bit where he pretends he's about to throw up on Lynch, and Murdock and Amy are terrific coming to the rescue. And that bit where Face spits the cigarette, and instead of blowing up the fuel bins, it just fizzles out, is a scream. Hannibal's reaction gets me every time. In fact, that whole final section of season one is excellent. "One More Time" is followed by "Till Death Do Us Part", which is brilliant. Then there's "Beast From The Belly Of The Boeing", which is terrific. The gang all have some great scenes in that one. Then it all winds up with the awesome "Nice Place To Visit" (which is let down only by the mawkish and daft funeral speeches). Brillant stuff.
