i thought he was called carcer at first.. i was about to get all up on my high horse about them stealing a sociopath called carcer from discworld...

then i heard it properly and felt a bit silly...

I thought Carter was the worst thing about this episode to be fair, not a great actor, I know he was meant to be the cold assain at the beginning, but he was just wooden....

That bit made me laugh. Keith Allen's delivery of such an absurd line was brilliant.

Great fun episode all round, really, though I still think Robin himself is a wet blanket. Promote Gisburne to main character! Next week looks like a promising one. Our Giz gets to play the hero by the look of things.

f.y.i ring lardner was a hollywood screenwriter who was blacklisted during the 50s and came to UK to find work....as writer on 'the adventures of robin hood'.

Well the ending was a bit of a bummer. First time they've killed off that character in Robin Hood.

Rubbish ending to the series. Guy was totally out of character for almost the whole two-parter. Weird.

i was sooo hopeing guy would turn good, but alas no.

tbh i have a little quirrel about things. they say RH will return next year, but how can it be RH with out Marian, Will or Jack?? i personaly think it wont be that good.

i watched that... they killed marion? i know she was annoying, but how can you have robin hood without marion? isn't she meant to kill him when they are older? :S

I heard it was because she wanted to leave. But to be honest her character was getting a bit stale anyway, very repetitive, not much more they could really do with her....

Although I did think they were going to kill of Djaq instead.... Awh her & Will together are well cute I love it!

I won't believe that Guy is beyond redemption. His teetering on the brink of good and bad is what's made the show watchable. If he's gone all bad, then where's the fun?!

Well, except for watching the Sheriff's attempts to seduce him. That's always fun.
