That is a good point, Pigeon. But I thought the performances in this episode. I thought Dan C was excellent and really managed to completely take your mind off the fact that you were watching the man behind Homer Simpson (LOL). I also thought that it illustrated quite well how the outside world might percieve the events that the SG crew go through. It is a way of the writers justifying why they wont reveal to the world the existance of the SG programme. As for the rest of the season yes there are some good episodes but I just felt that this was a high point for me.

you are right there its a very well constructed episode, and it does have its good parts but it just didnt keep my attention! after i had finished watching it i just thought hmmmm.... rather than 'that was a good episode'! anyway each to there own opinions etc. etc.

Well this was the episode I was looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint which was a good thing, Gemini -that what I’m calling Sam double, it would be complicated if I keep saying Sam double every time-I think I should give it name Gemini. That was the name of episode hence why I choose it. I knew she had other plans but I still wasn’t sure what her plan, look at what happened it was rather obvious but since she was playing both sides it was brilliant written so he’s dead she going take-over with Sam military knowledge she’s going to become a powerful Replicator foe then before I hope we will see her again. Still Betrayal was interesting concept for them. I wonder how they going to destroy it?, guess we will have to wait and see. I’m happy 2 Sam’s for price of 1.

Actually, the technical term for the Replicator Carter is "RepliCarter" ;-)

And can I also ask - where was Daniel in today's ep? He was in it for a whole of 5 minutes at the start then briefly when Replicator Sam went through the stargate but he just got shot.

I know he said he wanted to go to Atlantis, but I wasn't aware he turned up in Series 2, does he?

The SCI FI Guy bit has now finished until after xmas! Doh. It has been great fun and thanks again to all of you for your support and feedback. Yesterday's episode was good, it's a shame Channel 4 missed out on Atlantis though!

Those Clawrettes were great fun and very nice woman, it was difficult to concentrate when filming that for obvious reasons! Plus one of them (the brunette) told me her brother was a fan! LOL

Season 8 runs alongside season 1 of atlantis, so he hasnt turned up in season two, it wudve been season 1, and he didnt so we can assume he didnt go.

Wasn't Jack & Daniel in the first episode of Atlantis? I've not seen it myself but I'm sure I've read it that they appeared on the first one! If that's the case Daniel didn't go to Atlantis. Oh it gets so confusing at times!

Yeah they were in the first episode of it, they were sending the team off thru earths gate to Atlantis. Jack was a General then, and in like the third episode of season 8 sg1 they shipped weir off to atlantis and promoted jack so it was probably around then that it started. I've had a look and it looks like so far, Daniel hasnt had the chance to go there.

And when I say Daniel hasnt turned up in atlantis, i meant the actual city in the show, not the show itself. Was that where the confusion was?

Ouch now there's a tough question. I would have to say that I like them both. But my favourite of the two is SG1 as without it we wouldnt have Atlantis! Obvious I know, but hey. However I hope to interview some of the cast next year for my radio show! If all goes well that is.
