Six of nine, can you not do something - I dunno use your power as the Sci Fi expert to get full version of Threads shown?

I like the idea that I would have that sort of power but I really have no influence whatsoever. If I'm on this week I'll ask them nicely though

Aww well thank you - and how did your fashion show thing go?

Brilliantly! thanks for asking. More press and industry people than expected turned up so an extra show had to be put on. There were lots of photos in the standard the next day. Great night out afterward too and lots of friends and family arrived over from Ireland

i doubt very much if they will show the full version of threads being channel 4, thats why the shorter version was made, for when it went into syndication! its worth a shot to try and persudae them because i cant imagine the episode any different!

Wow-they bolded this thread

indeed it has been made a 'sticky' and good job too i think! although in couple of months when season 8 ends i think posting might stop in this thread, as it normally does when a season ends

Then you can't lose quote: Dr_Greene, I haven't seen it so don't know how it comes across on tv but when I was there I actually thought that Vernon took the p-a bit more than Steve. They were both really nice to me though.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the full verson of Threads too.
Well Vernon was mucking about a fair bit but didn't seem to take the mick out of sci-fi as much; or at least his mickey-taking wasn't obviously directed towards sci-fi. He seemed more intent on starting rumours about you and Steve I didn't know there was a longer version of Threads, I think I saw the short one. I'll have a look around to see if I can find the full-length version

full length version was an hour long, so if the episode you watched was an hour then you know that it was the long version! if it only lasted 40 minutes you'll know it was the short version. Just a handy reminder

I agree he didn't seem to be taking the mick out of Sci Fi. And Six of Nine, I don't live in London so I can't look in standard, but i'm glad it went ok.

it means its stuck at the top of the topics page and will never move from there, unless it gets unstuck by mods! even if no-one posted here for a week it would still be at the top of the page in all its glory! it has a funky little red (!) to show this

You mean its fixed - so your on next week too - looking forward to that (how very 'George Bushish'). At least C4 can tell you about the age range of your teenage fans.

Actually I'm not on this week guess they fancied a change! Not sure what you mean about the teenage fans but what the heck, the notion that I actually have fans, teenage or otherwise is brilliant, After all, how many chances in life do you get to have fans!! It's part of the fun.

Wow really? Does that mean they're gonna change the sci fi expert? Hmm, have you been training a replacement, to be one with the force? You as Yoda, the wise master training the idiotic youth?

Don't forget to add the ads to that. So an hour on Channel 4 would be the short version. In DVD, the full length version is an hout *without* ads.

The /t4 questionaire is quite detailed age, (boy girl or it) etc and can c4 send you spam to your email. quote: Originally posted by Dr_Greene04: You as Yoda, the wise master training the idiotic youth?
If your asking me ? No Im not silly enough to do that kind of thing, nor do i own a 'costume' - If i was going to be insulted by a welsh person because i like sf then I'd make sure he was gaffer taped across the mouth before i even agreed to be mocked by a childrens tv presenter.

Well that's just silly! I thought you'd settled into it very well. I reckon it's because you stopped dressing as She-Ra Or was there even a vote this week? There wasn't a form when I looked, which I think was the next day. quote: Not sure what you mean about the teenage fans but what the heck, the notion that I actually have fans, teenage or otherwise is brilliant, After all, how many chances in life do you get to have fans!! Well if you're going to have fans then obviously you have to come up with a collective noun for them. Something like Princessinators, only better

Well said Bugblatter. Maybe the new sci fi expert will be using these forums, as the previous two have. Six of nine, does that mean you're going to disappear into oblivion as the claw did?

No voting form this week. T4 said it was a problem with their internet dept.

Glad you'll be sticking around...but then how could you not? Yes, I was going for creepy there So you've really got a taste for being on TV then? Well if we actually get to vote for you next time I'm sure you'll be back on...especially if you promise to dress as Claudia Black I'm not massively keen on this week's eps of either Enterprise or SG-1. Next week's are right corkers though
