The end of season eight is fantastic but before anyone starts shouting spoilers we should moan about s9 in the s9 spoiler thread.

Damn, what'd I miss? C4 and T4 have a massive amount of data here about what their viewers think, information they might pay another company millions to gather, and they just ignore it. Guess they're taking a while to enter the Information Age.

It was brilliant! someone posted a really long message about how dumb, stupid, brainless and obviously uneducated I was mostly based on my halloween costume and mentioned that someone who wasn't around when Star Trek first came out couldn't be a sci-fi expert! Normally I don't bother defending myself but it was harsh so I pointed out my that education level, IQ and various other things, and got a harsher response so I stopped bothering to reply but a few others took up my case and between the people who dispised my very being and those who quite liked me it got particularly nasty and personal. I stayed well out of it then myself but couldn't help being quite chuffed that my brief T4 appearance caused it

We missed you on Sunday. Didn't think too much of the Blacksmith. Bring back 6 of 9!!!! As for Sundays episode. Don't you just love Jack! Hilarous that he didn't think it odd that he had insight to Joe's life! Brilliant! Jack at his best!

Its 'Steve' and the 'im too dumb' banter that most of us probably object to, and T4 for censoring the guts out the programs to fit the childrens tv slot. The fancy dress (which none of the actors do offset) and the silly noises turn quite normal people into parodies. If an 't4' sf expert has to come on in fancy dress, and have the sound of zoo animal to signify that there 'special' then I can well understand the position some might take towards that person when they should be blaming t4.

I reckon they resented you because they reckoned they could have done better...if only they had the guts to go for it. It's the fact that you had the guts to do it that really bugs them

I agree, it was nice to see Jack being Jack, even if it was only for a minute or two.

So has everyone been voting for your favourite expert? Personally - no offense six of nine but I liked Amanda Tapping best! (You come in second though).

Where do you vote?

I dunno, isn't that what they said on T4? I might be wrong - i seem to remember them showing all pass Sci fi experts and saying something about voting for best or something, but I've slept since then so sadly I cannot remember and thus help you more. sorry StargateBabe.

I think they just show all the past sci-fi people before giving the voting link. There's no option to vote for individual people except whoever was on the previous week. No offense taken Dr_Greene, I'd vote for Amanda Tapping ahead of me too!

Is this week's episode, the start of the story arc that ends the series?

Did not wear fancy dress, or have a animal noise. She's an actor, Im sure she can sing and dance too if you get my drift..

Okay, I don't like saying negative things about shows. But I can think of little positive to say about "Citizen Joe". The in-jokes were way, WAY too much and they weren't funny. The clips seemed to be chosen at random. The whole thing smacked of trying to recreate Wormhole Extreme which I enjoyed immensely, but it never quite made it. The storyline was awful and before you start quoting myself back at myself I did say the 'story' not the 'plot'. It was a lame story. It didn't make sense, it didn't ring true, it wasn't interesting. The explanation at the end that Jack had visions of this guy was pointless, stupid and didn't lead to a joke funny enough to make that worthwhile. It was the kind of show that is so bad, whilst being a show I would usually enjoy, that it's made me kinda angry. There were some cute moments (I'm sure there were more but the only one that springs to mind right now is when Jack's introducing the others to Joe) and Jack in his dress uniform never hurts but overall another lame story that did nothing but remind me of how great the show once was and how little I am enjoying it now. Damn, I'm pissed off!

HA! I agree i did not think that Citizen Joe was good either, and it did just remind me of the classic days of SG-1! But the fresh look which you are so against, sohuld be given a chance. Like i said the last few eps of season 9 look good! and it hasnt been as terrible as your making it out to be, not by a long shot! Anyway i should really stop talking about season 9 here someone give me a slap lol quote: Is this week's episode, the start of the story arc that ends the series?
Yeh there is a 3 part story arc, then there is a 2 part finale to finish the season!
