Last week they completely cut the RepliCarter stabbing Yu with her Terminator-style arm turned into a sword.

It'll be interesting to see how they cope with the violent bit in Reckoning part 2. I won't give any spoilers here but I have grave fears that a lot of people will be going, "Huh? What just happened?" if they cut it as badly as I expect they might.

Why don't they just give Stargate an evening slot, then they wouldn't need to cut them to pieces? Sooooo frustrating!

Watched 'Holiday' (S2) last night. You know, when Daniel, Jack & T'ealc swapped bodies. So funny! It would have been even better if someone would have swapped with Sam! Could you imagine it? Jack in Sam's body! Big Grin

Stargate- well it was a brilliant end of the 2-parter with replic-Carter destroyed and the gould a victory after so many years, it well deserved, the special-effect are still breath-taking and I like how Dan managed to stop the replicatators, next week is an extended-episode of stargate I can’t wait to see what happens.

As Janice in Friends would say: OH MY GOD!!!! What a fantastic episode. Stargate back at its best!

Oh my Daniel!!!!! But seeing as he's in S9 I guess he comes back! Wink

And it was excellent to see Jack back in action again.

And I must admit it was good where Ba'al was helping Sam & Jacob/Salmak.

G8 show! Big Grin

Just sad that we've only a couple more episodes until the end of S8 and we'll have to wait until Autumn for S9! Frown

My advice is to go onto Amazon website.

Daniel is drop dead gorgeous as well as Jack! Big Grin

You'll love watching all the previous seasons.

Have you seen Stargate the Movie with Kurt Russell as Col. Jack O'Neill? If not it may pay to watch that one first so you get the story from the start. Then the series is better with Richard Dean Anderson playing Jack. If I see the film now it just doesn't seem right with someone else playing Jack other than Richard.

Also on the dvd box sets after s2 you get extra features.

Stargate Babe, I'm with you. I can opnly watch it on T4 as I don't have digital/satelite TV. now yesterday's episode was...FANTASTIC. I loved it all. Especially Jack telling Reynolds to put an extra amount of C4 on the door, and Reynolds looking at him funnily and Jack saysing, "It's a 'blast' door." Loved it. Also the Carter bit where she's muttering about how everyone expects her to be like a god as she blew up a sun. Poor Daniel, though I don't think we've seen the last of him. Every bit of this episod ewas good - they finally kicked the Replicators asses into shape, and I loved the way Daniel used the Replicator Carter against herself by controlling the spiders. Even the ship when they landed on the planet where Teal'c was was a giant spinder. Perfect episode. Loved the bit as well when Jack asked who was left behind and they both guessed Siler. Great fun.

Best. Episode. Ever.

So much to love about it - especially the last 10 minutes. Kudos to Peter DeLuise, the director, for putting together so many different scenes so well. I especially loved the scene where Jack was shooting for his life at SGC, then it segued into Sam doing exactly the same at Dakara. And, like the last time I saw it, I actually cried during the kawhooshing of all the different Stargates.

Credit where it's due: well done to T4 for not cutting so much of Daniel's death scene that we didn't have a clue what was going on. I was afraid that they wouldn't show any of the scene where the RepliCarter's arm turned into a sword, but they left enough in so that we realised what she had done. They did cut the actual sword being plunged through Daniel, but I knew they'd do that.

Lots of great lines: my favourite was Jack telling Siler that he expected to be put in his will, Siler replying, "Already in it, sir," and Jack saying, "OK, that's ... weird."

I also loved when the Replicators froze at SGC: Jack and Reynolds turn to each other and shrug, Jack says, "That's odd," they nod, then turn as one and continue shooting.

Looking forward to seeing "Threads" again next week, though I'm going to cry my eyes out at the end because, as far as I'm concerned, that's the last truly good episode of "Stargate SG-1" Frown

The RepliCarter stabbed him through the chest after he got the best of her. While she was raiding his brain, he raided hers and found a way to stop the Replicators that were attacking Stargate Command and the temple on Dakara. He managed to freeze them in their tracks for several seconds, giving Jack and various other soldiers, and Sam and several Jaffa, time to reload and be ready when they started up again. It also gave Jacob Carter time to reprogramme an Ancient device in the temple to emit a beam that would disintegrate all Replicators everywhere. They did this by teaming up with Ba'al, who showed them how to reprogramme the DHD on Dakara to dial every single Stargate in the galaxy simultaneously, and then the beam swept through all the Gates and destroyed all the Replicators. Shortly before this, the RepliCarter stabbed Daniel to loosen his hold on the Replicators. The last we saw of him was him slumped on the floor of the Replicator ship with his eyes closed, then the beam reached the ship and disintegrated it.

However, we didn't see his body floating in space, so if he wasn't on the ship when it fell apart, where could he be ...?? Perhaps we'll find out in next week's episode.

sorry I didn't mean to offend I hope you didn't think that. He died in Series 5 episode Meridian. Penultimate episode of series. He made several guest appearances in Series 6, and then returned fully in Series 7. I didn't mean to spoil it for you either, ie saying he'd died before. I wasn't thinking.

love this episode, so much good stuff in it! Baal is definately my favourite Goauld. Especailly his Goauld cockyness 'I am a God, and Gods are all knowing'! very cool. I love the scene towards the end when it slowed down and showed jack firing, then sam firing and teal'c or the goauld ship, very well put together. Also Daniels scene with Replicarter (its freaky how difirent Amanda Tapping is when shes evil carter, to when shes our carter) Next ep is just as fantastic too
