It would seem to be advantageous to show the shows over here at the same time as america. That way viewers (and the ratings they generate) are not lost to watching downloads rather than the actual programme.
The ony drawback is the seasonal breaks that the americans have. Mind you, having a break over the chritmas period hasn`t seemed too bad. SO far.
Although it does seem to have taken Bones longer to return. Plus of course there`s that extraordinarily long time between eps of Lost.

Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.
America dont get either atlantis or sg-1 until april, they went on an enourmously long break this year for some reason, and sci-fi in america is currently showing Battlestar Galactica every week!
Just got a reply from my second email to Sky regarding SG-1 being on Sky Three
Thanks for your email to Sky with regard to repeats broadcast on Sky Three.
I regret to advise you that at present no schedule information is available with regard to this series being broadcast on Sky Three.
I am sorry that I have been unable to assist but thanks once again for taking the time to contact Sky.
Kind regards

So it does sound like they made a mistake when they replied to my first email, fracking idiots
Sci-Fi in American have kicked themselves in the teeth with the really big break this year, half the people in America will now download the eps and the ratings will fall. Well maybe that's what Sci-Fi want to happen as they seem to hate SG-1 now
Next tuesday on Sky 1 is the WORLD PREMIER of the last ever episode of Stargate SG1.

Me and my mum used to watch it loads. We're sad that it's gone, but we've still got Atlantis, even though it's on a break atm...
And I can't wait to see the movies.

It's so quiet on all the forums today. I have no idea why I'm posting this here though, no one ever comes here any more by the looks of things...

MGM is working on a complete series set for Stargate SG-1. The set will include all 50 discs from the 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1, plus 4 bonus discs filled with content that didn't make the original sets. Suggested retail price is $299.98 (currently about £150) (minus whatever discount a retailer applies), and the set should be released on October 9.
I wonder if this will include the full version of "Threads"?
