Well Season 8 of Stargate was a bit strange because of time-line confusion, as some of you will know Atlantis is currently been shown on Five and Weir is in-charge so I’m try to get that, Before that, Weir was in charge of SG-base on Earth. That’s just one thing I have to get used to however this episode also tell me it’s going towards the politics of Stargate. I personally don’t like this I hated those S7 episodes dealing with that aspect. So system Lords are going to test Earth defences this was a great cliff-hanger.
Sam might be dead, yeah right as if I will believe that I know somehow she has escaped, anyway so replicators have build a ship which is very fancy not only that they developed the art of transport people off a ship, how is that possible . T’eal has hair guess that’s another change I have got to get used to but it really look awful on him, I prefer him bald but hey after 7 years I guess the actor has a right to have hair.

Thought the episode was fab and an ace start to the series. Like Bala, I thought the cliff hanger with system lords were great. They could've explained Teal'c's hair though. Still good stuff, lets hope more good stuff to come.

I missed the episode! I was out buying shoes! Lol (it's a big deal I hjave big feet, can't get shoes) So I taped it, but i was too impatient to watch the adverts, fast forwarded on screen adn ruined it, it leveled out eventually but still . . . I usually hate the 'politics' over the Stargate, but I love descended Daniel, he's funny ya know? maybe the writers are just giving him funny lines coz RDA is in it less, but it makes it more watchable in my opinion. I coul;dn't really give a damn about Sam, for all I care she died, or didn't, and the fifth can keep her, but that aint gonna happen. And as for Teal'c's hair, I think it looks good! And go Chris Judge, he's been fighting for hair since season two and he finally got it! There's something to be said for non stop nagging! The only reason I'm looking forward to next week is so we can Jack really, the plot just didn't interest me too much, I spose I'd like to know if the world gets destroyed as well, but that's second on the list, third is Jack's reaction to Teal'c hair . . . fourth is seeing Carter cry again . . .

I'm really not sure what to think about Sundays episode. I was ecstatic about it coming back on, but i didn't think it was that good. Okay the whole system Lords thing was interesting, but it's so obvious that Sam isn't dead. And the timeline thingy in relation to Atlantis is so confusing!

yes that's problem, Atlantis is suppose to be after S8 finishes

Atlantis and SG-1 Season 8 run alongside each other after the conclusion of the next episode of SG-1 season 8! Not after series 8 has finished!!!

I suppose it'll be alright if they run alongside each other after the next episode. It was just so weird seeing Weir back on Earth instead of in Atlantis.

Well who’s bright idea was it to put an ad after title sequence in Stargate?, anyway getting back to the episode Jack is back, I was wondering how they would do it never figured Thore would transport him to his ship but I’m guessing that solve how they would get him out. So they finally got a weapon to destroy the human-form Replicaters, I loved Jack line ’well I had to do something’, I hate to admit it but I missed jack even though he was only away for 1 episode, his wits is quite amusing.
So as figures Sam is alive put in a fantasy world, how many times have they used this idea on Stargate?, it rather getting predictable but cliff-hanger Replicater of Sam was brilliant ending, he finally invented Sam it would love. You kind of feel sorry for him, I almost laughed when he said he was in love with her. So now Sam in-charge of SG-1 and Jack in-charge of the base, this is going to be interesting.

I thought this part was much better than the first part! All the great Jack lines 'Tealc whats with the hair' when they need to save the asgard, superb! I thought the advert at the end of the title was good as we got more watching time in the actual program itself, with just one advert in the middle, but i dont like that they have copied sky - putting advert 5 minutes from the end!!! that anoyed me! anyway cant wait to see how the Bal, Replicator and the Gouald who requested sanctuary looks like it will be a very interesting season

I only thought it was good because we got less adverts between the beginning and the end of the show! i didnt particulaly think it was a bright idea, but we did get more of the important action stuff in the episode free of adverts!!!!

A great episode, but I hated the ads SO much - badly edited, too, not even letting people finish a sentence - so I have ordered the DVDs. A bit impatient, but I can't be bothered with all that T4 rubbish and ads at inappropriate moments.
"Tealc, what's with the hair?" Lovely line!

Sunday's episode was really good. I finally got a chance to watch it before, and i loved it. Jack was hilarious, i'm so glad he's back! I was laughing all the way through it, especially the last bit when he promotes Sam: "Repeat after me. I, 'insert name'.."

It was excellent, Jack makes all the difference, him having acess to all the computer information was so funny, the way he played with the lights and stuff. They should bring back RDA to do a voiceover, and make Jack be downloaded into a ship, and then there won't be the problems of his schedule or anything . . . anyways

For those wondering what was cut from the Gateroom scene, here it is in full:
GATEROOM. The Gate whooshes. At the bottom of the ramp, Daniel is waiting with SG-11. The team head up the ramp. Just as they reach the top of the ramp, the Gate closes down. O’NEILL (from the Control Room): Daniel! (Daniel turns and looks up at him.) Report back to the Infirmary. (Three of the members of SG-11 have already left the ramp. As the last member walks down the ramp, Daniel grabs him round the neck from behind. Two of the other members of SG-11 draw their guns and aim at him.) DANIEL (holding a pistol in the man’s ribs): Open the Gate! (Jack looks bewildered.) Do it, now! (Jack grabs a pistol from one of the airmen in the Control Room and runs for the Gateroom. One of the members of SG-11 raises his gun higher. Daniel shoots him. He then turns and shoots the other one. Jack comes round the corner of the doorway, aiming his pistol at Daniel. Daniel, with the SG-11 member still held around the neck, hustles the man down the ramp. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp, Teal’c, standing in the other doorway, zats the pair of them. They collapse to the floor. As Teal’c walks forward, Daniel forces himself up onto his knees and looks at the pistol he dropped. Teal’c aims his zat again.) O’NEILL (still aiming his pistol): DANIEL! (Daniel grabs the pistol and aims it towards Jack. Jack shoots him in the shoulder. Daniel falls to the floor, not unconscious but unable to move.)
Poor Daniel – he was shot by every member of his team in this episode!!

Thank you very much for elaborating on that for me.
The cutting drives me nuts.
Gosh it's been so long since I was a newbie anywhere...
