Thought Amanda was good, though Steve Jones was asking dumb questions - good to see her over here though. They could've interviewed more though, you know asked her how her new born's doing etc etc. And yeah - Stargate away for a while that's crap. One question about this weeks ep - have seen all the episodes this series except part 2 of the first ep - Did thor change his voice in that episode, as it sounded different on the one on sunday, though it might just be me, he didn't exactly get a lot of air time? Thought maybe Shanks may no longer be doing voice, but I don't know.

Nah, people said she was but in an interview she said she would be carrying on, maybe splitting some of her time between Atlantis and SG1, she's signed on for 20 episodes for season ten of SG1

Where did it go ?? I watched last weeks episode , No mention was made by the morons that are T4 that it had gone ,bye, bye and it wouldn't be on the following week ????

Was it just bad timing on my part that i missed something when i pressed the mute button when the talking "Div's" spoke on completion of the show ??

Can anyone help ?? I didn't realise that if your a Sci-fi fan you had to have E.S.P to know the viewing times of these types of programs

C4 never bother telling us when any of the sci-fi shows won't be on. We only find out thanks to boards like this.

Like jenna says that purpose of these forums, bad news is no stargate next week as well ,but it returns on 27th november along with Enterprise, that right no enterprise next week as well.

They had 2 repeats of The Simpsons on last Sunday, yes repeats! They could have put Stargate on in that time.

Now, now. Let's not blame the Simpsons. 'The Simpsons' is the key to the unification of the world (that's my own personal theory and let's not examine it too vigorously because it's probably full of holes).

I'm ashamed, disappointed and sad to say that my interest in Stargate is seriously on the wane. The episodes, while still superior to many TV shows, are getting a bit boring now (again, I speak in relative terms only) and it's just not exciting me the way it used to. Stargate Atlantis has entirely failed to grab me, which I suspected it would from the off. And now it's soured me a little against the original, for some reason (again, which I suspected it would).

It's the X-Files and Buffy all over again. Why do they not know when to quit? Having said that, though, 'Friends' lost it for me somewhere around seven or eight, then hooked me again.

I'm not going to give up on Stargate (it's not quite as bad as the X Files yet) but I'll not be watching Atlantis on a regular basis and... I dunno... it's all a bit depressing.

I can see where you're coming from britishbecca, thus far, though Series 8 has produced some very fine episodes, none have been outstanding (like the Abyss for example). It doesn't help when T4 take it off the air for 3 weeks, and it is heavily cut when it is shown.

It's not only on sci-fi shows either Channel 4 do it for other stuff too, like if ER is on at 3am then they won't tell you it's on, even if it is a repeat.

I think Stargate hit its peak around season four, that is the only season where i can watch every episode ova and ova without getting bored with em. There are still some absolutely brill episodes but since season 6 its been few and far between ima, e.g. Abyss Season 6 and Lifeboat Season 7 were brilliant.

I have to disagree about atlantis, but I always seem to be arguing with becca about SGA so I wont push the point . . .
