i really loved life on mars and have the box sets on dvd.the only thing is (and i know this sounds pants but...)i didnt really get the ending of lom
did the ending mean.....sam felt more alive in the coma that when he was awake.
as i said .....i know i sound dumb but i would love to know if my interpretaton is correct or not.

oh and as for ashes to ashes i cant wait!!!

Sam felt numb in the real world to me and he felt more life when he was in a coma, so commited suicide.

Question: Is David Bowie getting compensated by the Beeb for the use of his songs & song titles for their successful TV series?

bbc has general contract with record labels to use most pop and other music for brodcast on its radio and tv stations.
