Being well past my teenage years, I find the more adult Angel show more enjoyable.
I have all of Buffy on DVD though.

Miss it terribly. I know I can watch my vids over and over again, but it is brand new story lines I yearn for. Sigh. Oh why did they have to stop making the series!
maybe because buffy was getting older unlike Angel who's actually older then buffy. SMG probably got fed up playing that chracter, we would all be slighly angry if they replace her with another Female,right?

She won Most Popular Actress. Big difference between that and Best. They changed the name of the award a few years ago, when it kept going to utterly lousy actors, who just happened to have big fan clubs!
British shows with good female characters. Yeah. Well Footballers' Wives and Bad Girls don't really count, do they! Not easy getting a good role. It's getting to be tough for the guys too though nowadays. It's all soap and trash, and the good roles are getting pretty thin. Then suddenly half a dozen all came along at once, and David Tennant managed to get all of them.

i think its bcause US had wonder woman/charlie's angels as guide 2 female action show leading 2 buffy/alias. we had emma peel but the rest of decades were male action heroes- check it4's 60s/70s shows.
I looked last night at 2am, but nothing showed up. And doublechecking just a second ago revealed it is finally up.
The ORIGINAL Randall and Hopkirk (deceased). YAAAAY!! probably incredibly dated by todays standards, but it`s got to be infinaitly better than the remake!

I sky+ ed yesturdays ep, for viewing later (prob friday, which is when I finish my 4 night shift pattern). Then from next week, until at least chrimbo, I`m on a training course, and will be working the late shift (2pm til 10pm) with every weekend off, and evry night in bed. Bliss!! something I`ve not done (except for holidays) for the last 8 plus years!
