ok, since mini-series won't be shown i thought i just tell you what has happended, Man created cylone which were robots and they decided to leave, it's been 40 years since they seen a Cylone and Battlestar Galactica is a museum of a ship until news comings to captain that Cylone has lauched mulitple attack on all colonies and so captain decided to get everyone ready for War.

Now that president of colonies is dead new person has to be elected and it's happends Education minister so now she want rescue all suvivors against captain wishes. She does to certain extent but during one hyper-jump she has leave 500 standred cause Cylone are closeing in.

It seem Garius whi is genious on this has help cylone by accident because it seems now that cylone are now human-form which mean they could be anyone which is basically where the mini series left off. Also Captain has decided to listen president and go to find a place named Earth.

Battlestar Galatica is only ship that doesn't AI system and only surviving Battlestar. That reason why this series is called that.

the captain used to have 2 son one of them has died other hates him because of that-later on we learn that there another person 'starbuck' who passes him in basic training

There are 12 different clone shapes, they all look different to each other but there are thousands like each of the 12.

As to Earth... These are civilisations of humans who were born and live on these 12 colonies. They will know of the '13th' colony ie Earth, if they know religion etc. They know about it, like we know about heaven I suppose. Not everyone believes it is there, some know more than others etc.

Laura Roslin has only assumed the position of president until a time when they can hold a proper election for a president. She's taken this position as she was the only surviving member of the Government.

And its Gaius. There's no 'r'. Sounds like Guy-us when they say it.

Yes but from look of what happended so far-it does seem likely that the election won't be anytime soon which to be mean she willstay in that position for sometime until a government can get started which depending on how long it takes to find Earth.

i have different view on 33 minutes, first of all i'm slighly confused at end of mini-series they made jump that made difficult to find them yet in this episode they found them Confused-it wouldn't make sense-it kind contridict what happend second part mini-series?.

second issue why did they wait 33 minutes every time surely better way would be to make series of jump continously so instead 1 jump they do 2 jumps leading 66 minutes instead of 33 minutes?. why didn't they think of this?

Well episode 3 was a lot more intresting than last week, Still prisoner revolt was predictable that i can't believe only 1 guard was there-unless i'm mistake most prison ship would have at 5 man guarding 1000 prisioners.

Good episode and secrets out-now everyone know that cylone can mimic humans. Still that woman was going for a witch-hunt and going after Andomis was a big mistake-he is in-charge and it just occured to me what if he's a cylone-i mean what if cylone has a copy of him?. That would make for an intresting twist don't you think.

Hey Bala!

I only just noticed that Sky 3 are showing Battlestar Galactica season 1 on Freeview. Is there still no sign of it on one of the terrestrial channels?

I bought the mini and season 1 DVD sets last year, and I honestly think BSG is the best TV show in years. EJO is fantastic as Adama! As a commanding officer, I reckon he is up there with Kirk, Picard and Sheridan. And I also think he is better than Lorne Greene's Adama.

And I also see that we are finnaly getting season 2 out on DVD at the end of the month-28/8/06. And it's about bloody time too.
What the hell was the hold up between releasing season 1 and season 2 on DVD? It must have been a year and a half!

I totally agree about it being a fabulous show. And I really wish they'd hurry up releasing series 2.
