I think they could've made more of West's realisation that HRG was Claire's dad. It was a bit weak.

I reckon Claire's gonna turn bad. Her bf already has her abusing her powers, and he told her she's automatically better than that head-cheerleader just because she has a power. I wonder if his dad is Adam...probably not.

I'd wondered if wossisname would be immortal cos of his regenerative power, but I wasn't expecting that. Hiro could be in a spot of bovver.

As for Peter, well his amnesia's gone so he won't be so easy to recruit, but not impossible. He might be a bit more interesting evil; he's been a bit of a Jack from Lost so far.

I`m watched the first 5 eps, and I`ve badgered my daughter into asking her supplier of the disk to get the other eps early.

I wondered how long it would be before West saw Claire`s dad. He should also have recognised West as well. Shouldn`t he have also remembered where West lived and which school he went to? Should have been the LAST place he moved to. West is already known to the company, and should they go back to check up on West, they`re going to see Claire.

I watched ep 8 last night. It's one of those flashback eps and shows us what happened between the end of last season and the beginning of this one. Interesting, explained a few of the mini-mysteries, but didn't progress the plot all that much.

I have in my possession a little gadget containing eps 6,7 & 8. ( I think it`s called a USB pen drive, or a flash drive or something equally technical )

However, isn`t there on the market a DVD recorder that has a USB port for just such a gadget???

It's possible; mine has a slot for an SD memory card but not for a USB stick.

Depending on the format of the video files, and the capabilities of your DVD player, you might be able to burn them to a CD or DVD and put that in the DVD player. Or just sit very close to your PC monitor

I was so stunned at the revelation at the end that I sat staring at the screen for ages after the ep ended.

Just finished watching ep 8.

How do the iPods come into it? They were supposed to be in the container that Peter ended up in.

How did electro girl and The Company find out that Peter was in Cork?

How come Adam had his powers 400 years ago, yet all the other people`s powers only surfaced in the last 30 years or so?

Surely if it`s evolution, then more and more people with powers would have surfaced on the last 400 years?

If it`s genetic, then does that mean that everyone is descended from Adam?

Isn`t it ironic that the oldest person with powers is called Adam, and that he`s immortal? Shades of Highlander and Methos doncha think?????

Electro girl was asking around the dock initially, so they must have followed the shipping containers.

One of the outstanding mysteries is where these abilities came from. We keep getting this "Godsend" symbol cropping up, and of course that was Adam's symbol way back when.

The way the Godsend symbol crops up, e.g. Jessica's tattoo, and Peter's tattoo as it disappeared, suggests there's more than just genetics going on. Of course that could just be down to daft writers.

I guess Adam could be the granddaddy of them all; he was far enough back for his genes to have spread pretty far and wide. And even if he had a vasectomy it wouldn't take...

I agree with all of the above! And another question... where did Adam/Kensei get Peter's Passoprt from? AND where did he find the time and/or money to get plane tickets?!!!!
Ahhhh so many holes in the plot, but last weeks episode was better, so maybe things are looking up!

Actually I wondered where that silver box with Peter's stuff came from. Was that explained and I missed it? I guess it'd make sense that Adam had something to do with it, as it contained plane tickets that took Peter to him.

I think, but I don't know that that was just the box the Irish fella (arrgh sorry, can't remember his name!) used to keep Pete's stuff in, I don't think it was found on him.

Oh god it's awful to pick it apart like this, BUT I did also wonder how Peter have survived in the shipping container with now water or food?... Maybe it's because of his regeneration ability he got from Claire I suppose.... Hmmmmm....

I don`t have the ep now to double check....

but didn`t Peter fall to earth and land in Cork, where the Haitian took his memories? Then if the Irish criminals were given a false tip that they`d find iPods in the container. It could mean that Peter was only there a matter of hours or even just minutes before he was found.

Ok, fair enough, my mistake. Makes sense now!

So what did anyone/everyone think of this weeks ep?
I still don't think it makes a lot of sense, reckon they're spreading the plot too thinly.....
